Defective rear axle silent blocks - Replacing the axle

Replacement of a rear axle which has not passed technical inspection because of defective silent blocks. I replace the whole rear axle with one bought in breakage with a 3-month warranty Operations on Peugeot 206. Another possibility would have been to replace the silent blocks only, but this requires having the right tools.

Mine did last week rear left wheel now wobbling but have just ordered a new axel bcs it’s one of those red things have snapped

Why not just change the bushes ? 3rd of the cost & you know its good ,,

Depends on the strength of the rear axle. Most of the time you'll crack the axle just trying to get it out.
In some cases, it's better to just do the bushes, though.
