We bought a king size three-inch mattress topper. We cut it into three pieces. Two of the pieces to fit the twin beds which we leave on at all times on those two couches made up as beds with twin sheets and cute matching light blankets. We roll up the center , 3rd piece of the mattress topper and store it below the passenger side bed/storage, then use it in when we make the king bed. Absolutely luxurious!
But the way. If you do buy a mattress topper, use a serrated bread knife to saw it. A box cutter or scissors are no good

Buy and use double stick tape to add a fold-out cup holder used on boats. You place it in the wall between the small and large window at the head of the bed to hold your water at night. Works super!

Newer Travatos you do not use city water hose, you fill and use tank and pump. This is for the all weather preparation. The reading lights you hold the button and the light turns white. To use the beds as couches you would need a foot stool. The new bug screens are an improvement over the sliding screen because the doorway is not square. The vans with a square entries can do the nice flat square screens. The Travato is the number one selling van. Oh and the brown is so much nicer if your a camper and not a glamper.

I had a Travato too but even filling the tank required opening up the back door. I loved the panel but if the weather was bad and I wanted to stay at a place with hookups for a bit, it was a royal pain in the neck.

Have owned the lithium version of the Travato (59KL) for 2+ years and we love it. Have not had any issues with the Nautilus water system. We connect the water hose only to fill the fresh water tank and then use the onboard water pump. Love the comfy beds, large bathroom and Carefree awning. No regrets. We have a Travato KL with 13,000 watts of lithium battery power, an immense amount of power. We can run AC all day when boon docking, electric cook top, convection microwave. We have light colored teak wood. The walnut color cabinets are a personal choice. Great awning windows. Storage overhead and under the bed, and the cabinets in the rear of the RV. It’s a 4 season vehicle, so you use the water system by filling the tanks and closing the door. You don’t run a hose outside the RV. It’s a genuinely beautiful RV. So easy to drive/maneuver/boon dock. Great TV, JBL sound bar, fully updated safety features. And, the blue “ambience” lights over the bed can switch to bright white as well for reading. It is truly a great boon docking RV. Multiple other exterior metallic colors besides red orange!

Push longer on back blue lights! 😂 👍White light for reading! The roll down screen has a magnet so you can enter in and out! Won't secure animals. The slide screens break. Costly repair we just did it! Over $200! String breaks! The storage under the one bed has a secure lift that stays open! 👍 Get a small poof for your feet when sitting on couch we have one I am short. The step down is great for my husband who is 6'2".🎉 We are definitely looking into this model for off grid and easy parking. Lithium a must. The water hook up won't work. Just fill them fill when empty. I guess it protects your water & all season. ❤ We are in a Winnebago View right now going smaller! 🥰

We just purchased a new Travato 59K, the floorplan you borrowed. We are really enjoying it. It drives so nicely. The twin beds are wonderful. Our cabinets are a light teak color. Those little lights over the bed ARE reading lights, if you push again they are white. You actually missed the large storage area under the twin bed. We dont use city water hookup, just fill tank and use pump. Then just unplug and go! No FireFly is great.

The one 80” bed plus the deeper mattress is attractive as is the rear bath vs the smaller side bath. I don’t often use city water on my Class A unless we’re parked for several days so filling the 19 gal. Tank would be no big deal. I guess the roll down screen I could live with although I’m not a big fan of the huge sliding van doors. Much prefer a single entry door with a swinging screen door. Would have like to seen a larger fridge. Been a Winnebago fan for over 40-years but looking hard at the Coach House 271. Great Class B review. Love you guys. Keep up the great work.

No big deal with Nautilus system we just use the pump. The storage under passenger bed is a plus. I dont believe it was shown in video. Bed lights have two modes you need to push button twice for regular light. I have been looking for a replacement but can't find anything that matches this layout. The rear bathroom is the way ro go. But are wanting something more nible, and more stable in high wind and when meeting BIG trucks. My husband and I would have to get a rear bath model, on a class B.....otherwise the shower would be unuseable for us. I would also really appreciate knowing the comparison of ground clearance of these models. Some of those black/gray water connections look pretty low. Hey y’all! We love our Travato 59KL. So, you don’t ever stay connected to the city water. You fill your water tank with city water there and close the door and use the water pump, always. Just open and fill when you run out of water. Usually lasts at least 3 days for us. A new way of thinking. And very convenient because if you think about it, otherwise you would have to take down everything if you want to visit anything (store, entertainment, restaurants)where you are. Because think like your van is your vehicle too. Perfect for boondocking. We LOVE ours. Have had Airstream Flying Cloud trailer, Airstream Classic trailer, Aistream Interstate Van, Thor Omni Super C, and Airstream Basecamp trailer. We have tried a Promaster a year ago as a test drive in a different brand of Class B van, but the cab did not fit well. My hubby's leg length is too long and the seat cannot go back far enough. Travato 59k was at the top of my list. However, I picked a Coachmen Nova 20D Pop-top instead because of 3 reasons.
    1. The water connection from the rear door needs to be open.
    2. Outside of the summer months, showering in the rear bathroom setting is too cold.
    3. The bug screen & built quality are more superior on Coachmen.

The placement of the Lagun table near the galley seems much better than the mid-aisle mount in other vans. I like the addition of the tracks above the galley and the beds to customize storage. I am thinking that any rig we get that would have a black tank - we would remove the flush toilet, doubling our gray water capacity, and use a urine separator toilet such as the Trelino. It would be great to see the use of the quiet Truma roof AC unit. The older units were very loud in the small space. I'm not sure what unit comes standard with the current Travato. That was a 12-volt fridge! I never want to go back to an absorption fridge with the fins in the back.

Enjoy your review of the RV because you really told about your own experience 😂 with the RV and that is what I am looking for in the RV review and I did watch the reviews on other RV but the you tuber is more interested in seeing the RV than telling us about the bed points of the RV I can understand that and the Nova reviews you did about the Gap in the door and cause cold air to come in and this one about the hose will get pinched when the door closed those two reviews is what I wanted to know because I have wondered with the water system in the back and sleeping with head against the back door will you feel the Cold at night and you answered both questions for me ❤ but I have some questions about the RV with both of your age and I am not far behind you and have a little trouble walking 😭 which RV you think it's easier to move on the inside 😅 and lithium battery really when it's no short power to plug in 😅 I would like to get one not only to be able drive around the country and might use it during an emergency situation like earthquake or hurricane with the RV is like to have a second house when the primary one is destroyed 😢 My family can use the RV as a shelter to live in I value your review and opinions because you have lot experience with the RV life I am a newbie and have no idea what to look for in the RV I enjoy Nick's review he tells you what features is in the RV like if it has lithium battery and how long it can run before it needs recharge but I like hearing from your options on how long it can last because recharge 😢 and how long the fresh water tank can last until empty my family have five members plus a chiwawa 😅 and as long as I can recharge the battery and refilled the water I should be okay ❤ but you know during a disaster water and power might not be available for a while 😭 and the road is destroyed and from you the pro master seems to easy to drive and park that is I am looking for a RV van fit in a late standard garage ❤, you mentioned you didn't like a cassette toilet but you didn't mention why maybe you can explain it in the next video because I was considering getting one with it because it seems convenient to use for me my family can dump it anywhere with a regular toilet 😅 with a black and gray tank I can't dump it on the streets 😭 or the street drain because the Bio hazard 😢 and have you used one of those toilet treatment for the black tank I did watch your Amazon live stream and you did have a treatment you recommend on the electrical do you recommend a surge protector and what brand you recommend I check it on amazon but have no idea which one is better 😅by the way Bo is so cute and nice he just lays on the ground waiting for you two to finish the video 💗 our family chiwawa is to excited some times 😅 but she is a nice and gentle dog she would weg her tail with a new person 😅 I am looking forward to your next video on the Best b class RV you reviewed so far 🎉

Love the series and among the Promasters, the Travato. Decisions, decisions. With your noting lack of outside storage which is normal for full vans from the manufacturer, was hoping would have one last one in the series that stepped up to a B+ with a View that Sunshine State also sells and would resolve the outside storage issue. Really love the Travato and you are right about the water bay - even is they had a passthough hole in the floor with sealing plate when not using hoses. However, you hinted at it with remark about Class B lifestyle without stating it. Why do you need the hose permanently connected just because you have it at the campsite - just fill tank when necessary. Concerning lifestyle, that is your driver and a hose is less to disconnect and store when touring the area then reconnect on return. Great remark on the collapsible hose, not that would kink when door closed, but they collapse very small and would be a great "go-to" for all space challenged Class B's. One thing you didn't remark on - even when noting clearance and the adjacent quiet fan - was the AC. All the others had the Truma quiet AC you raved about while this had what looks like a Coleman not noted for its quietness.

Winnebago’s blinds that go bottom-up are incredibly important. All other brands do top down and close off your view! Terrible! The bottom-up design allows for privacy AND ability to look out at your view. That one difference alone is why I’d buy this over others.

Our screen works fine...the roll up has less moving parts than a slider or door, and allows for plenty of air flow. It opens and closes easier than a door or slider...we have seen sliders get jammed.

These class B vans are actually travel vans. Not really for sitting in a campground for a week or two (although you obviously could). The demographic that buys these are generally not full timers, are younger couples looking to stay away from your typical "family" campground. No city water when boondocking so the "city water" connection is moot to these buyers. This would make a terrific travel van. Remember those gaudy '70's and '80's travel van conversions (high top on a Chevy, Ford, or Dodge van w/crushed blue or green velvet interior)? Class B vans are just an advanced form of those with bathroom facilities.

Winnebago could save a lot of money for them and their customers by eliminating the entire black tank and toilet system by moving to dry flush technology e.g. LAVEO. I have one in my 2021 Embassy Sport and would never have any other system again. No tank, no plumbing, no water and all the junk under the van.
I see put a slider window on the passenger side bed instead of the awning style probably because owners were forgetting to bring the window in before opening the sliding door and CRASH...$1000 replacement. That was smart. I Love the walnut cabinets!!

It keeps crossing my mind that the class b is not animal friendly. I can see them going through the screens and the wide opening of the sliding door is a great escape route for your pet if you get sidetracked for a second. I really cannot see a class be in my life. Thank you for the reviews.

Au contraire. There are workarounds for pets. We had a Travato G and now we have a Solis Pocket. Granted our pup is only 10 pounds, but there are lots of people on the Travato and Solis FB groups who have large, rambunctious animals and they've put up reinforced screens or some sort of gate. And at both ends of the running board, there are loops for animal tie-outs. And what you give up in space with a B, you more than make up with nimbleness, drivability, parkability and mileage. The Pocket can easily get over 20 mpg, for example.

Although I dont connect to city water hookups I too find Winnebago's location a bit surprising. Would love to know their reasoning.
Also surprised by your avg gas mileage in the Promasters. We must have a unicorn. Unless climbing the hills of the rockies, we avg 17 mpg. I do at times wish I had AWD, but we really enjoy the Ram
