Hello, have you and idea why my Mouse is extremely sensitive when looking around the cockpit? I’ve changed sensitivity settings but none of them have worked.
@@dronesimI’ve tried this numerous times however them setting only apply to my controller, not my mouse which is my main way of looking around in the cockpit
FS2020 took 4 years to reach the point where we are now. It’s not very stable yet, things are missing (weather radar), and suffered a terrible downgrade when MS made it available for the Xbox. FS2024 was launched too early, Asobo didn’t delay it, the announced disaster we are watching was absolutely expected. I didn’t buy it, and I won’t, until the new sim is barely usable. I’ll use FS2020 until the new simulator has what we have for 2020, plus a weather radar. Until then, I’ll fly the 2020. I’m ready to wait 1 or 2 years until then
I set my keyboard to 2020 and then set my views just like this. When I select a view, it takes back inside the airplane somewhere, not close to the view I saved. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but this is frustrating.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!. I totally stopped playing 2024, because I could NOT figure out how to duplicate the cockpit views, that I setup and had gotten used to in 2020. I could not figure out whythey would change the commands and all. Once I changed the keyboard presets configs -back to 2020 as you suggested and you showed us to how slide left or right in the cockpit, I was able to bind everything (I never leave the cockpit to go back in the passenger cabin), exactly in 2024 the way I had them in 2020. Thank you very much! Now, I will spend more time with this 2024 version. I added you to my subscription. NOW, if I can just find out how to transfer my paid for aircraft from msfs 2020, which I run on steam, to msfs which I run in on game Box (pc version). Any youtubers that have done that?
@@Easyjetsimpilot ok, now I understand thanks. One more thing, now that I've got control in 2024 on Boeing Max to work like they do in 2020. For some reason they are not working that way, for my 747 in 2024. Do I have to do the bindings setup all over again for the 747? No more questions.
I can’t get my mouse to work in external mode i i switch tk out side and my mouse won’t work ive set the bindings and everything and it still won’t work
Has anyone come up with a solution on how to get from the player screen to the settings page? The ESC key has become useless after a recent update it seems
Thank you for this. If they give an option to use the 2020 key commands, then why not just make all of the same key commands in 2024? Even this is broken with the sim. Changed things for no reason which just made it worse.
Thanks, could you also cover the set up procedure you used for Thrustmaster TCA stick and throttle quadrant? I haven’t been able to work out the controls tab in the sim settings and I’m sure I’m not the only one! 😊
Thanks for this video. I noticed that the moment we make a change and create a new keyboard profile it also maps Joystick button 1 and 2 and changes the ESC key. Is there any way to undo that since we need the joystick button 1 and 2 for flying related functions. Any advice?
@@Morst434 Thank you SO much!! i can finally do flights like normal!! and btw! do you know why my airbus beluga isn't moving at all after engine start up but the others are? it's stuck to the ground
You have to walk to the door and click the door handle. As some of the walking keybinding wasn't there in the 2020 setting, you'll need to revert to 2024 just to get in. You can do this from the menu option. Walk forward using W and backwards using S.
Very nicely done. I do have that setup, but I prefer to use my xbox controller for all views (as I did in P3D and MSFS2020). I am finding that the xbox controller does not seem to work well fow custom camera views - any thoughts?
All I want is to have a window view, looking out over the wing of the A320, by pressing the "select" button. But no, that simple piece of code is not there. Instead I have to deal with only cockpit / external views by one button. I can't assign anything to get that view unless I go to the menu first and select it manually, so....ugh. Using Xbox.
This video was of no use to me, I need to know how I can make the cabin views in 2024 where you click the cockpit door and it keep putting you outside..
Watching this video makes me soo Not buying this thing..whatever it is called. Will stick with trusty old 2020 version until I can be convinced it is worth my hard earned dough.
The issues I see and am having is that they don’t save the controls just like certain settings my window views don’t get saved upon restart
Same. its a total mess. also the custom views carries over to other aircraft as well. This was so much easier in 2020
+1
Thanks. I actually knew this from MSFS 2020, but in the excitement of MSFS 2024 and the desire to get into the air as soon as possible, I blank out.
It is even easier to set " ctrl + num. for saving a view and just the number for loading that view. Just one click during play. 😊
how do you do this? i’m new to flight sim

We need a graphics settings guide video 🫶
We just need a manual! You know the old fashioned type with topics and an index. Online or a downloadable PDF.
Goodness, thank you so much for this time saver here
Omg thank you soon much I have been having an issue with this for so long my friends couldn't help me chatgpt either thank youuu
Thank you! I found this video very helpful.
cant we set the views seperate ?? because if i save a view as example on fenix so my inibuilds a330 view will change
No, as the windows are in different places on different sized aircraft.

The mouse sensitivity for looking around is in Options > Camera > Freelook Speed & Freelook Momentum

How can I get my 2020 keyboard binding into 2024 and my 2024 is on another drive
You can transfer any personal keybinding you have set up from 2002 to 2024, but you can chose the default 2020 keyboard layout as shown in the video.
ok, but how go into cabin? I can not move from pilot seat. I can't move left and right side.

hi great video however changing to 2020 i cannot then move around outside/walkaround
You can add MOVE FORWARD and BACKWARD to the 2020 controls. Just assign them to whichever key you wish. I use W and S to mimic the 2020 controls.
well now I can't do a walkaround.
ok so you have to use Alt C to bring up setting and change it back to 2024 to get in the cockpit.
How do you do this in 737 max from asobo
i want to know the same cannot open the door

wonder if 2024 will recognize my honeycomb bravo and alpha controls
