Funny Story 00: The whole journey of tinkering upon this track was a mind-twister on its own. And an interesting one at that. Figuring out how or what to begin with, presenting it to Hypnos' own cult for the first time, having several musical paradigms debut for the track, all while grasping a core mindset: that this whole project is a Calamity mod boss theme. Well, hope this lives up to what my idol's put up to the world before he left.
Another thing I'd like to point out - Ammyan, the original creator of the infamous XP-00 Hypnos boss wiki page on the formerly official Calamity mod wiki, noticed the theme and absolutely loved it. In fact, they loved it so much that they decided to make it official. So because of that, the theme is now listenable in-game and I couldn't be more ecstatic about that!

This honestly feels a bit like a mix between calamity and vanilla's chiptune music, which is exactly why I absolutely love this theme!
The chiptune use is really good in this song, and gives me huge vanilla vibes. But it also still keeps a lot of that calamity feel too!
Some of the more bitcrushed instruments used even give me some vibes from spirit's ost, so that's an even bigger plus for this music track!

I always wondered what the "P" in XP-00 stands for.
I know M in XM-05 (Thanatos) stands for "Might", S in XS-01 & XS-03 (Artemis & Apollo) stands for "Sight", and F in XF-09 (Ares) stands for "Fright".
"P" stands for plight. It's a reference to the souls of plight dropped from the Motherboard boss from the Tremor mod.

@@rivalsmodchannel7412 Draedon's theme should honestly be used briefly during mech songs, because it merely signifies that, amidst the chaos and heat of the fight, at the end of the day, they're still just Draedon's creations; nothing more, nothing less.

according to the wiki, this guy was originally a joke boss in an addon mod, but then was actually added into Calamity, so maybe that's where you're getting that from.

Geez, a mechdusa made from the Exo-Mechs would be an insane secret seed boss!! Kinda makes me wonder if the Calamity Devs will try their hands at making secret seeds with custom mechanics (if that's even possible to do, since I'm not really sure how the coding for that would work)

I LOVE THE MOTIFS OF THE OFFICIAL DRAEDON THEME FROM CD MUSIC, I must admit, I imagined a song full of sound effects, lately there have been several pieces of calamity music that are pure art, and your friend, you have created a masterpiece

He dug through the bloody depths of the crimson for chunks of the brain you slayed long ago, then grew it and gave it new purpose. It still retains the memories if you destroying it. Yep, that is Yharim's leitmotif alright. Thanks! The Nightmare Fabricator and Hit List motifs are definitely fan-favorites in the community. Dokuro sure is a god at writing melodies and chords.
The latter motif you pointed out is known as the "intimidation" motif and is used in pretty much all post-ML boss tracks - save for Murderswarm, Servants of the Scourge, and DoG & Yharon's phase 2 themes.
@@theexiiedfeiiow4748 That's interesting, I never remember hearing it outside of stained brutal calamity, nor that draedon's leitmotif actually had a name.
And also to note, dokuro, on several occasions, mentioned he hates being called a god as he doesn't like being compared to one, so I'd try to refrain from referring to him as so out of respect. (Sorry if I sound like a complete karen)
@@substratosphere529 The leitmotif is a lot of the time quite subtle as it is only referenced in the chord progression (for instance, 2:00 at Unholy Insurgency and the intro of Feral Amalgamation).
