I really like how much Calamity enhanced pre-hardmode. Each of these boss motifs could be reserved for the final boss but so much effort was put into making the whole OST come together as an experience, not just giving the final few bosses the limelight. I'm a sucker for non-verbal musical storytelling
What I love about the OST is that even without the context of the games it's possible to sort of understand the purpose behind the themes and make connections using the different motifs. Like how the Brimstone Elemental theme sounds lonely, and mirrors SCals theme, which gives a feeling that SCal had some hand in delivering some tragic fate to her (maybe that's just the general brimstone theme, but that's the kind of theory that could pop up without lore). Or like how since the Calamitas clone combines a bunch of motifs it feels like it was a being created from all these different parts.

But also was harrassed and sent death threats because people didn't like his songs style and wanted more and faster. Key sentences: didn't like his musical style& wanted more within less timeframe. Just had an argument with one in reddit where someone possibly following what i did, tried to ask the community to toxicity or no toxicity, leave DM alone. This guy in the comments was obnoxious calling us suck dickers cuz DM spits in our mouth. By that he means how DM despises any and all mention towards calamity and will heartly tell you to fuck off if you bring it up. I don't blame DM at all. He was sending out masterpieces faster than triple AAA companies work on their games. For free. One piece each 5 months or so, i think.

This is well done! For the Calamitas section, there's actually 2 motifs: the one at 6:47 is present in both beginnings of Raw, Unstable Calamity and Stained Brutal Calamity, and also appears at the end of Epiphany. That would be the "Calamitas" motif. The other one at 6:19 as well as in SBC and the title track could be considered the Calamity motif itself! It's the closest we have to a main theme.
I guess that motif is used as the presense of gods themselves, as you fight the entities that can par them and in some cases you even fight the gods (like the providence)
Yharim's motif is also present at the end of RotJD during the guitar solo with the bells that are a longer version of the subtle bells in the middle of the song, except that after the bells, the horns continue the motif if you pay attention. I really love that touch!
I'd personally like to believe that the little snippets of random motifs also present in Raw Unfiltered Calamity are actually pieces of the Player's theme, and Raw Unfiltered Calamity brings them all together. Edit: Except for the ones with another reason to be there. Namely: Brimstone Flames, Brimmy, and Cal, Yharim's Insignia.

I don't think leviathan theme uses crabulon motif, along with the fact that crabulon has no relation with anahita & leviathan lore-wise, so the melodies might be a coincidence

This may or not be a coincidence, but I think that I may have found the origin of the "intimidating" motif. In Dokuro's arranged remix of Moonsong from Cave Story, you can hear the motif as a backing to the melody at 0:23. It can also be found at 0:08 in the original Cave Story ost.
I know gannondorf's theme in twilight princess has many motifs(i wish someone would go out there and make a series deconstructing zelda music but hey close enough). but god calamitas has so many.
I've always thought the intimidating motif in stained brutal calamity just after epiphany is a direct callback to the scourge of the universe. The intimidating motif cuts off the scourge of the universe's intimidating before you can actually hear it, but it's there.
I believe that the "Intimidating" motif is also featured in Return to Slime at around 1:25 in the chords in the background. I can't tell for sure, but it certainly sounds similar.
i want to add, the yharim motif is also basically spammed in the background of the guitar solo in roar of the jungle dragon basically for a quarter of the whole track xd

My personal faves are (They are all insane tho) Crabulon, Abyss, BS Crags, Calamitas, Devourer, Yharim (I always heard it in themes but didnt realise it was Yharim's motif), Dragons Aerie (I loved this part sooo much in SCal's theme, now i know it), NF II, The Hit List
I think a lot of the motifs shouldn't be named after the bosses. They are all summed up in CalClone's theme as she is the first significant marker in the players journey given that the soundtrack's first interlude appears right after her theme was composed, and, lore-wise, she is also meant to be a large challenge in early hardmode that marks the end of the first part of the story (read some of the narrative lore about here i'm not writing it down). It's still really amazing what Dokuro did and I'm genuinely sad the toxic part of the community made him quit. Wishing him all the best for his future.
this is weird, and i doubt anyone will get this comparison, but raw unfiltered calamity is very similar to two songs from a mobile rhythm game called Cytus II, and those two songs are Chaos and V, they both contain many many motifs of other songs in the game, specifically songs belonging to Ivy, one of the characters in the game (each character has different songs), and while i never played it, im pretty sure theyre all motifs of songs from Cytus I...anyways, i just thought id share this little comparison of mine, i find them both to be very interesting, and maybe someone knows what im referring to!
You forgot about 'Duel For A Lost Kingdom' by PinpinNeon. Although its not in the official mod, the Astralgeldon isn't either so i thought i could let you know. At the first minute mark the 'Sunken' motif from the theme of the sunken sea can be heard for just a moment.
I like how a significant chunk of these are all in Raw Unfiltered Calamity, it's a nice touch that DM included.

I only missed one motif: Catastrophic Fabrications, the Exo Mechs theme.
Catastrophic Fabrications isn't in the main music mod which is why it was excluded. Inferior Fabrications is though.

I knew that the final motif in track Roar of the Jungle Dragon is theme of Yharim.
You forgot about 'Duel For A Lost Kingdom' by PinpinNeon. Although its not in the official mod, the Astralgeldon isn't either so i thought i could let you know. At the first minute mark the 'Sunken' motif from the theme of the sunken sea can be heard for just a moment.
The Sunken seas theme is also used in 'Razor Blade Monsoon' by PinpinNeon
Astrageldon Slime is a removed boss from the base Calamity; I've covered those on a separate video.
Astrageldon's theme was made by dm dokuro, it's not a cheap wannabe, pin pin neon is an amateur composer when compared to dokuro
