Hello, Nice video, I would like to know if its possible to download the engine management settings as it was on the car originally? Thru the Ford Service website and As build and write it to ECU ? Thanks for anybody who can help ❤
I couldn't find any AS BUILT DATA motorcraft web site. Any body can help?
Thanx you!)
I don't have that module.
Just changed a Cross Traffic Module in a '17 Explorer. Hooked up ForScan, got the As-Built data from Ford via internet connection thru cell phone, wrote the data and the light went right out. Awesome & thank you the video. Helped me understand what I needed to do and I did it. 1st time, no issues at all.
Thanks. By doing that will it stop any dash errors if I install h7 leds?
Thank you the video is useful. My question is once you download the As Built data how do you load it to recover OEM settings?
Hi and thanks for this information. I am getting a "violated terms of service" message when I try to access the mapped spreadsheet. Any idea where I can lay my hands on this document? Thanks.
Thank you for the video. This has helped me understand a little bit more of the manufacturers process and coding.
I never get stuck
Hello, I know this vid is a little older but is it possible to diagnose hvac issues using FORscan? I have a 17 Navigator and the rear hvac system is clicking (not where the blend doors are but more towards the tail light). Thank you.
the website doesnt work anymore. I entered the VIN, downloaded the .ab file, but the file has no data , only "error no data found" .. the VIN is correct.
i had to get a new DDM modul for my 2008 town car the old one broken but the one i got used don't have all the options my car has so i need to program more options to the module, do you know where do i get the codes for that? Or how do i extract the codes from my broken one to add it to the new used module? Thank you!
Hey Justin, Do you have a new link for the spreadsheet? the current link is no longer working, thank you!!
@Justin Scholl, going to the motocraft website and downloading their as built file actually shows that many of the changes I made to the truck have overwritten this factory data. In other words, things I have changed are now present on the motocraft as built data. I'm not sure if the truck is doing this OTA as it receives patches and configurations require new values, but this as build is not the same as it was a year ago.
Hi, I have a 2010 Ford Flex and want to turn off the outage for the blinkers, but I don't see 'bdycm' in the list. Is this not available for modification? I do see 'stop and taillight outage configuration'. under GEM/SJB module config. Thanks

Hi, and thank you. Any way to add a turn light to a front marker light? Thanks
This is a good example of how easy it is to jack up your AS BUILT! Good thing the values for your BCM 726-21-01 were the same as 726-22-01. Might pay to put an edit on the video just letting others know. 😉Great video though! Exactly what I was looking for.
As I understand this information you're talking about where these guys have collaborated are called spreadsheets?
Hey man I just wanted to give you credit that was the best video I've ever seen on as belt data did blocks anything to do with forscan
How do you calculate the vin on modules. I have a tcm that’s unable to read the vin on a 19 f150. I’ve tried everything
I can't find my the data for my AsBuilt file for my Ford focus 2012 in motorcraft service website. Can someone help or guide me with this? This is my VIN: MPB2XXMXB2CE05457, Help is appreciated mate!
So what happens when it only ever says "cannot connect to ELM"? I've had this issue using both Forscan AND Focccus and have tried three different ODB readers. Any tips? Sincerely, a ford owner stuck in Mykey purgatory lol
I know it’s been a while, my rear driver brake light and turn signal are not working anymore. I’ve installed LED aftermarket tail lights. Question is, changing settings thru BCM module via Forescan will return them back to work as now front turn signal is hyper flashing or do I need to install resistors mandatory? Thank you!
hi justin is it possible to download the built data from a specific vin from ford service website and use forscan to change everything in the as built data with out having to manually input every single 1, basically took a base model car and swapped everything to a premium but getting a crank no start and also key will only crank car over in the key programming hub since its a 17 with a push start, getting 1 single code for crank sensor but the pcm is showing rpm during crank, your input would be highly appreciated thank you
Hi I got a new 2023 Ford transit 150, but anti-theft alarm wasn't working so i was trying to connect to FORSCAN but it isn't detecting the vehicle (asking for PCM number), any idea how to get this going and activate the anti-theft module? please let me know. Thank you.
I changed my whole headlight housing to ANZOS. But the whole housing flickers at random times. How can you fix this?
Hi...interesting video...thanks. Any idea where I might find a table of 2006 Ford Escape as built format codes and their meaning...like the Super Duty link you provide.
Hi i do have a question, so i have an issue with my TCU on my 2019 ford ecosport, for some reason the ford pass wifi has been disabled and says its not installed anymore. Anyway i purchased forscan, went to check the as built data using forscan and it was completely different to what is currently in the TCU. I cant work out why this would be different? So i haven't done it yet. When the old module has had software updates from ford would this change the as built data? Does the as built data on motacraft site contain any updates? Or do software updates have no effect on as built data? Thanks for reading
Do you have to do 1 at a time or can I do a 4 at once? Thanks
Thanks for sharing. Were you able to identify the memory code for the RKE/RTM frequency? Trying to figure out how to change it from EU/GCC 415MHz to 315MHz US to avoid having to buy a fourth (433) key to get my remote start working. Bought a kit with two four button 315 keys but the buttons don’t work. 🤪
thanks!
Is this possible on a Ram 1500 classic warlock?
Thanx Dude😁
Hey Justin, I have a question that I think you'll be able to answer. I bought two signature lights for my Bronco. Passenger side has a control module, but the driver side did not. So I ordered a module and installed the headlights. The passenger side works fine and all functions of the light are correct and I'm assuming it's because the light came from a vehicle that was already configured. The driver side is screwed up... part of the LED doesn't light up, the high beams are always on, etc. If I go into as built and copy the values from the passenger side to the driver side, would that be a good way to get both lights working uniformly?
It's certainly worth a try! I would imagine most of the data is the same with the exception there might be small differences because there's a driver side versus passenger side. Without knowing too much how they work though I would think it would get you slightly closer.
I got a question? I just swap engine from f250 2004 with powerstroke 6.0 with transmission and pcm course to a f350 2008 was powerstroke 6.4. Truck is working now but doesnt show data in the instrumental cluster, do you think rewriting parameters on pcm 6.0 will work in the ins cluster 6.4
That's hard to say... With the two different platforms and the years apart it may not work. Unless you have the 6.4 cluster and ECM and PCM
Good
You are very very very good ☺️☺️☺️ thanks bro
PS Do you know of a way to do a cylinder contribution test on Forscan? Specifically on a 6.0 liter diesel?
Very nice. I have been getting really frustrated with the rest of the Tube videos on FORscan. Some seriously challenged communicators, with few exceptions. What little I got out of most of them was clarified and organized with your refreshingly illuminating presentation. Maybe you can do a primer on getting started on FORscan, if it isn't too droll for your level of aptitude.
Your title tells us all we need to know about what you are going to explain so just get to it and stop wasting our time. I've never known so many people with verbal diarrhea.
Your global tutorial is very helpful. I will try this codes tomo. Thank you for the info buddy. My name is Manny I have 2017 Ford F350
Hey buddy how did you get your mirrors to fold with the key fob? Can you send me the codes pls
What year truck do you have? On the super duties it's actually a setting the the instrument cluster you can actually just enable with the steering wheel
I looked in the menu on the stereo and also the cluster section
I have a 2017 Lariat f350
@@mannynm69 I'll have to take a look at what the AS BUILT numbers are but in my buddies 2017 F150 we had to rewire the mirror
Thanks Justin. Really appreciate it buddy. I’ll look at the cluster menu and see if the global window section is there
Where does forscan save the factory as built data?
I downloaded the license but it’s giving me a message like “you need a license to make changes”. Do you know what I’m missing? What else do I need to use forscan? I downloaded the driver and forscan, all setup, just need the license to go thru.
Hi Nick! Unfortunately I have never seen this issue... I would make sure you have the latest version of the software installed!
Does the ford scan sw can be used to replace firmware of ecu?
For what it is the switch in the device elm?
The switch toggles between the two CAN busses that are on the vehicle.
Can you show us a video on how to program the vehicle module? I had to replace mine with one I got from ebay and was told I need to flash it.
Take a look at my other video on as built data. You will need to go to Ford's website and download the original data. And then go to that module and upload the data to it
@@jscholl57 that is to flash the entire ECU correct? Thanks
Bro, so when Forscan tell you to turn off and turn on. Do you have the engine running all this while or do you just have the key switch on the "ON" position , not really the engine running?
You never have the engine running always just key switch on. Judy to power the modules
