  • When owning any karat of gold you must remember you still own pure gold, which can easily be separated when melted down. That portion of gold in your jewelry is always tied into markets and currency and is always changing cash value, more on that later. Still collecting questions for the future. Let me know what you think of the video in the comments below!

You also DO NOT want a chain or ANY other jewelry to be pure gold. Gold is a REALLY soft metal, you can deform it with your finger nail. And any jewelry made from pure gold would simply bend, deform or break and be completely useless as jewelry. So they HAVE to add in some other metal, mostly silver, in order to create an alloy that is stronger then the two component metals.

Not true. A lot of Asian countries wear 24k chains and bracelets. No issue. Prolly you will get many scratches, but that is not a big deal. over time even 10k gold will develop countless numbers of scratches.

Stop the fucking cap 🧢 24K is not that soft if you get a SOLID thicker milimeter chain! Nothing hollow, thin or casted. Other countries have been wearing 24K gold jewelry for years(Asia/India). It’s just a way for jewelers to mark up less pure gold jewelry.

Dam I just live the straight non sense education you give on the gold market .. it’s a lesson I have my sons watch.. because they won’t believe me but you have a great way of visually teaching/educating us consumers..my sons want gold chains and when we are back in NYC we are definitely heading to Trax.. hopefully get to shake your hand as well! God bless!
