These acoustic versions are beautiful, but the track on the CD is the best version. And "I should live in salt for leaving you" is my favourite line of all time.

I think I read that this was actually written as an apology to his brother for feeling like he abandoned him after he fired him from his roadie crew for fucking around too much and doing a really bad job.

Man, I just can't get into the sound of acoustic pickups no matter what. Live mics sound a million times better. The acoustics here have a thin, plastic sound.
I was going to say the same thing. I personally can't stand too much of that piezoelectric sound. Why play a $3500 (or whatever it is) Gibson?

Live in salt? Too much can cause heart disease, and if you had any cut or abrasion it would be painful
