the first time I heard you I was hooked, just like a good easy listings tune, and you got it there... very easy to be stuck in your head. found myself humming it all day.. thanks Nikki lane,,I needed that!!!!
.....absolutely fixated on the voice, the song, this thing and our local radio (A.M. country in South Texas) version puts a smile on my face and oddly tearing up @ the same time!!, a very unique tune indeed: )'
Ahora entiendo todo...ella sale en el programa Pawn Stars, en el episodio que aparece vendiendo la guitarra, es sólo promoción, porque es la guitarra es de su compañero, sale en este video musical, o sea su aparición en el programa no es de una venta real.
While I can appreciate re-arranging a musical piece to "change it up" after playing it night in night out, however this rendition seems choppy and forced (No Offense Nikki and band) even Nikki looks a bit uncomfortable with her vocal. I saw her open for Old 97's at the Fillmore in May of 2014 and this song still stands out in my head from that gig, very haunting and syrupy sweet with a fluidity that is missing here. Love Nikki Lane and this is just my opinion, who the fuck am I to say what is good or bad!
David Phelps The KEXP version here is IMO the best. I saw her at hardly strictly and was great, but I prefer these more intimate versions. Can wait to see her again.
+David Phelps - I can not claim to know anything about music or how it should be done, but it was this video and the way Nikki sounds in it that first caught my attention and started me buying her CDs.
So approachable. She loves hangout with her fans and having a few beers after the show.
And why do I have to listen to Country Rapper crap on the radio while this is all but unknown? Thank you Mike Ness for turning me on to Nikki Lane!
+Colt 1911 Mike Ness is quite an endorsement
First time i heard Nikki was in Los Angeles. She opened up for the great Whitey Morgan....hooked ever since!
She is amazing live! Saw her with Social Distortion. She killed it!❤️
Those two together!? Talk about a wet dream... You lucky person, i'm jealous
Me too. Crushed it. Fan ever since.
Just fantastic! Very few bass players in country music are up-n-down the neck like that. Wow! What a great tune.
wow now you call it out, bass on this track does sound stellar!
What a graceful player too. The bass sounds wonderful high on the neck, really pops through the mix.
Such a good song
May the perpetual light shine upon the drummer, Ben.

I have recorded all her videos, and for this song, I think it is her best video recording I have seen. Simply awesome.
I agree. I love this version. I love how she says "crazy" at the end.
I love this version. The instrumentals sound amazing, especially the guitar solo. Her singing is spot on also, IMO.
