I was playing a game of No Mercy yesterday and we were on chapter 3. A tank spawned at the entrance to the hospital, but I was able to make it past to the saferoom while everyone else got gaped. I tried venturing out a couple times, but the special spawns were spooky, so I sat back. A boomer spawned outside, so I figured it'd be fun to blast some commons from the safe room after getting boomed. Well, I open the door, kill him and get boomed, and as I close the door and turn around, THE ENTIRE HORDE SPAWNS IN MY FACE. I died, and we had to restart. Love this game. It's like the director knew what I was doing and was like "Nuh-uh, shitass."

In case anyone doesn't believe it. Another guy on youtube, HS Top, made a video demonstrating this mechanic, along with other quirks and features.
The video is called "TOP 10 TRICKS FOR SPECIAL INFECTED" and he shows the infected being able to ignite objects at 4:07 into his video.
