I was pretty sure everyone had died and became a wandering soul in the sea of orange juice, but was given the opportunity to will themselves back into a physical form, which only Shinji and Asuka did.
How is this death, if they continue to live? It's not even like they were reduced to vegetarian state or reborn in another universe like in Ideon. Humans literally LIVE just without their bodies and with full-on understanding of each other. Evangelion (as its name suggests, by the way) is about Genesis, not death
I guess it depends on how you look at it. If the body is gone I would no longer consider a person alive. They're just a sea of consciousnesses. And I think you mean "vegetative state". Also, Ideon is dope.

English gibberish to highlight Nemo's bravery or something
There is no melodrama where everyone dies at the end in Ba Sing Se.
B-but who said that Evangelion is a "melodrama where everyone dies in the end"?Why are there so many comments about it?I don't get it.
I don't know
I come just because watching this and because of srw X
End of evangelion
@@jbproductions9874 Ik, but where does this exact phrasing come from?
@@mascotwithadinosaur9353 maybe it's just how fans see the show
@@jbproductions9874 Yeah, that's plausible.
Guitar solo slaps, but we're here for the vacalist😂😂😂
drinking game: scroll through these comments and take a shot every time you see "Evangelion" and "masterpiece"
oh, and "melodrama"
Should I take a shot of a different liquor for each word? Like tequila for "Evangelion", wiskey for "masterpiece" and vodka for "melodrama"
i swear i know this choir melody from somewhere
존나좋아
Blue noah
I prefer Nadia over Evangelion. Sue me.
_Nadia vs Grandis_ is the thinking man's _Rei vs Asuka_
Yeah, it was far more "normal".
row row fight the powwa OOPS wrong anime
What wrong with this comment section?
Circlejerk.
They watched Evangelion 20 years too late.
asking the same thing. I liked this show as a kid, come here to relive nostalgia and all i see are moronic half ass attempts at meme comments
2:09 too
this song makes me feel better, unlike that melodrama where everyone dies at the end.
Crap, I forgot to try in mind!
NO ONE DIES IN THE END IN EVA.
Watch the freaking anime before spamming.
Actually, the only people who survived are Shinji and Asuka. Did you even see EoE?
Looks like you are the one who didn't see it.
People didn't DIE, they just got turned into LCL, due to world-wide Anti A.T. Field. They are all still there, except for Shinji's mom who flew into space.
What happend to my life? Why did i became a drug addict?
Sovl
Good show, but personally I still prefer that one melodrama where everyone dies in the end.
Hololive cover when. please...
What melodrama are u all talking about?
That "melodrama" everyone keeps talking about is Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Русские есть
What's the meme here ?
Hell if I know.
They're referencing the show Neon Genesis Evangelion made by the same studio and same director of this show, Hideaki Anno the man
What I really want to know is what's the origin of this appellation
people are just patting themselves on the back for being contrarian, this show & opening is pretty good but it has poorer production than NGE
@@htoras_ anime memes were a mistake
けどナディアちゃん、俺は魚が大好き。
Русские есть?
Да.
In the show, like maybe I dunno
I hate how this is Blue Noah 2006
the Balls of steel of king.
