Always enjoy your videos and insight. The wife and I will be retiring to Arizona but that’s another seven years away. We visited the Sedona area just before the pandemic hit. Please keep the videos coming, beautiful family.
How far back did you guys go to find your spot? We went up today to check out the area and was just wondering. We went about 6 miles down the dirt road.
We were just at West Sedona and loved our campsite. You might want to try BOS(L)bags with toilet from Amazon. It is not 100% odor proof but it will works for hrs traveling in the car without any smell. I use a Cleanwaste individual wag bag then put it in BOS bag or use Odor Neutralizer with BOS bag.
“The family is the test of freedom; because the family is the only thing that the free man makes for himself and by himself.” -Gilbert K. Chesterton How true is that? Have a wonderful weekend guys.
You nailed this camping trip. Came prepared with everything. I’ve never been camping and wouldn’t have thought of half of those items. Thanks for the education. Also that after dinner scenery was amazing. AZ turns into a different place in the evening.
Your Wife is adorable, "I don't think I'll use that" hahaha, I'll tell You now, much better than scratching a hole in the sand... Awesome Family, great Campout, thanks for sharing.. 👍 🤠
Hard to go wrong boondocking in AZ. we're outside of Wickenburg during the winter, and blast out during the summer for cooler temps. you guys have lots of great AZ vids, thanks.
I love your family! Thanks for showing the free camping, we are coming with our RV when we move and looking forwards to checking out the camping spots.
Will be doing a recon of that area today for future camping options! BTW We bought a canopy type tent which provided shade especially in areas without trees.
cool video of my husband and I have our trailer which were trying to lighten up for boondocking and we got rid of a heater water heater a bathroom sink and we're trying to figure out where we can trade this or give it to somebody can you tell us something about doing stuff like that
Wonderful video with the family. Sedona is my favorite place to visit when in AZ. Keep these family videos coming - too cute. My wife and I have our Chicago suburb home for sale (even had a walk through today - a rainy Chicago day). When sold, we plan on moving and renting a house for a year or two in Awhatukee. Loved your videos of Ahwatukee. Would be great to see a video of how to find home rentals in Phoenix area when an out of state-er flies in to look and has a few days to view rentals. Some R.E. agents help renters but not sure how they get paid and how to find one. I may need one soon if we sell quick! Been following home rentals in Ahwatukee for about a year, but could use a few tips from a specialist in the area.
@@LivinOurDreamz We sold our house (to the young family that walked through that rainy day!) Closing tentatively set for July 30th. Three years of planning our escape from Illinois to Arizona is finally happening. Will be flying in to Phoenix and scouting Ahwatukee home rentals in early to mid-June. Been following rentals on Zillow/Trulia for about a year, but there must be other resources. We have a 2 year old cat so that limits some house rentals. Any advice?
Believe it or not, my daughter took this "drive" all the way from SF (said she was going to the "mojave desert" with her boyfriend , and ended up there ! A little colder right now (LOT COLDER) First night was in flagstaff with snow ! And, she wasn't quite ready for that cold. I've given her a few pointers, hoping she will visit the "hunting" store and get a few things.
I just found you two and this is the first video that I watched. I am an immediate subscriber. I have lived in AZ all my life...have a Jeep and love the outdoors. Won't do videos myself, but love what your doing. Looking forward to the days ahead in your adventures! Be blessed!
Great Video, I love Arizona. (See my thumb nail) I visit a lot from Upstate NY. I have family in Mesa & Suprise.I never been to Sedona yet? We hope to leave NY in a few years when we have the money. Lol. Jim in NY
I'm originally from Buffalo, so glad I left over 15 yrs ago..was sick of paying for all the politicians steak and lobster dinners..aka taxes, was paying about 9k a year for property taxes now it's under 2k
this video was awesome. I love your videos they are very informative. It’s like I have my own personal travel agent and your wife is so funny. I love when she does videos. Her information is from a woman’s perspective and I appreciate that. Tell her hi from NY. I look forward to listen to your videos daily. Your information is very helpful and helps my research. I am looking to relocate to Arizona either Goodyear Queen creek or buckeye not sure yet. In my research I am looking for any information on transportation jobs. My husband is a truck driver in road construction and I am interested in finding out what the prevailing wages are out there. I know that there is a lot of road construction going on out there. Can you do a video on road construction and the wages out there. He was also interested in the milk companies and there truck driving positions. I called to get some information and they would not give me information. Maybe you will have better luck obtaining the information. If you can do this it would be a great help. Thank you
That's why I wished I live in Arizona now. At least you have started to open up your businesses. This Governor Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan still has us on stay at home till May 28th, 2020. It makes me want to leave Michigan even the more. God bless everyone out there.
One thing you can do to help with the bumpiness is to air down the tires as it does make for a slightly smoother right, even with stock tires and suspension.
The tent was not level so there was an incline. We also needed more padding for the rockiness underneath. In the Jeep, the boys would not go to sleep and were horsing around. So I switched from the tent to the Jeep to separate them and I could have used more room to stretch out.
Yes! Maricopa Parks is opening up the trails. (Most services are still closed and, of course, it's fire season, because, it just goes to show you, it's always something...* ) I have too-dusty hiking boots and brand new tips on my trek poles. Love the quote. Very true. Enjoy your weekend as well!
I wish all men knew how true that is!
It’s good to see you guys out and about as Arizona reopens. The antidote to cabin fever.
Yes, the cabin fever was definitely getting to us! Lol Getting out of town and enjoying nature did us good.
Such a cute family, making memories.
You guys need a bat wing. Shade you carry on your vehicles roof. Range from $650 to $2000+. Happy trails from another AZ resident, traveler.
This is great y’all. Definitely going to check out that spot in a couple weeks.
Hope you enjoy your visit!
The view is awesome. I was passing thru Arizona last year on my way to California.
I love Sedona! Looks like fun times guys!
It was a good time. Pretty amazing place to camp!

The scorpions seem to show themselves more in the Summer, but always be diligent.

Where is this campsite at exactly?

Depending on the trail, this may be bad advice..
Why did you have a Bad night's sleep you didn't explain ? I could guess but that maybe wouldn't be accurate
