I just turned 66... you didn’t have to come of age in the 90’s to appreciate this show. I have awesome memories of the 90’s. Great show!! Especially compared to the GARBAGE that’s on now.

Fast Times at Ridgemont High is the most realistic capture of the pre-college experience....the woman who wrote it posed as a student in a san diego high school. this is just the same old story. nice guys are no fun at that age. a few years later, those guys are digging ditches. i guess im a product of the mid to late 80s but things have always been like that. Fast Times really nails the harsh realities with comedy. i only met girls when i started a band, did a radio show. you can be a bit less hot when you have the balls to play your music in front of friends, strangers. lost her at 32, anyway. old man angst. old man realities.

nothing captured going to high school in the 90s like this. I was obsessed with Angela Chase and this show. I just found 3 Buffalo Tom albums at Thrift Today and I still think of My So Called Life when I hear the name. Just an incredible time. My fav show in Grade 9. I'm turning 43 this year.
I was deeply in love at this time. Sadly she left me but I wonder from time to time when I hear the 90’s how she ended & if she ever thinks back to our youth & those feelings that come back of freedom & a careless time with nothing but feelings for one another.

I grew up in the 90's and high school was just like this...obviously without cell phones or Google because they weren't invented until later...but the emotions and all the angst is still fresh in my mind, and I graduated 23 years ago! If you can do it, I'd definitely recommend getting this series on Amazon. I did, and it's one of my favorite possessions.
