It's so true, really. You can't just *introduce* someone to On Cinema, like, "Hey, watch an episode of this funny show with me". At present, there's like 80 + layers of conflicts and makeups, and mishaps and remediation, and Decker, and their twitter accounts, and other social media presences- now the exclusive HEI network, which is true living satire. And it's an overall extremely slow-burn satire, which makes it perhaps the most rewarding and funny series I've ever followed, but it also makes It extremely inaccessible to most people, and yet it's both Tim and Greggs pièce de résistance of their entire careers, which is a shame.

    Law student here!
I just want to say that Tim Heidecker is a natural with criminal defense!
His cross examinations are brilliant. He leaves no stones unturned, his questions are to the point, and established what we lawyers like to call "reasonable doubt."
In my humble opinion, Tim's legal defense skills are on par with the likes of Johnnie Cochran. If his film reviewing and music career fall apart, I feel that he should pursue a career as a criminal defense attorney. He shouldn't even have to take the bar exam in my opinion.
In closing, I give Tim's closing argument 6 bags of popcorn, 3 cups of soda, and a VHS copy of My Blue Heaven which is by far the best Steve Martin movie ever created.
    ..
    ....
    ......
    ........
PS: the prosecution is terrible. Their gotcha question to the Star Trek director was a cheap shot..."how much did he offer to pay you?" -- expert witnesses are usually paid for their testimony! This was a bush-league move by that so called "lawyer" and hopefully the jury sees through her bullshit.
Also, Gregg deserves to be counter sued by Tim after the conclusion of this trial. Gregg lied under oath and drug Tim's public reputation through the dirt the last few weeks on On Cinema.

i'm glad to see gregg finally proven right regarding the whole star trek 2/4 fiasco. i think the judge was a little rude kicking him out of the courtroom though. I think he could have shown a bit more respect for gregg's expertise, but i'm sure he was just frustrated with tim's antics and was taking it out on an innocent man (gregg).

Tim is going to walk and this will be the biggest miscarriage of justice this decade. The prosecution made a gigantic mistake by trying him with 20 counts of 2nd degree murder, which they obviously don't have the evidence to back up. If they had tried him with 20 counts of involuntary homicide, the trial would be over and they'd already taking him in a bus upstate. Instead, they made a completely ridiculous decision that makes whatever stunts Tim pulls in the courtroom irrelevant, because no one's proving he intentionally set out to kill those kids, which is what's needed to convict. Instead, he gets to make a mockery of our justice system.

After Tim wins this (which he will the evidence is insurmountable) I know in his infinite, trans-cending mercy, he will allow Greg back into his fold. We all know Greg is mentally at a 13 year old level and Tim has always been a father figure to Greg. After he reprimands Greg (like all good father's do) I know Greg will realize how wrong he was about Star Trek and maybe even watch the damn thing to understand you cant use internet cliff notes to write reviews! After all, we need Greg for the new season of Decker. I have no doubt that Tim psychically knew that Greg would betray him just like Agent Kingstin betrayed Deker. Remember, Greg has the mind of a 13 year old child and we should really show pity. Does an eagle feel sorrow for the the worm squirming around on the ground? No, and that's what makes Tim so beautiful is he (tim is the eagle here in this analogy) BEFRIENDED the worm. But like all worms all they know how to do is squirm and squeeze there way slimily around in the mud. Its in Gregs nature to betray his master. But the majestic Eagle is so far ABOVE the worm that he isnt even grazed by its innate, stupid, wriggly nature. Tim, you are doing great work and I applauded for you every step of the way. We shouldnt feel guilty to give praise to such a beautiful, talented, SMART, human being. We should feel... NOT GUILTY!
