Using moto phones from past 7 years (Moto G5 plus, G71 5G, G34 5G), love their Android experience, but the main problem with moto phones are availability of service center and accessories.
Yes, these two issues are quite prominent with Moto phones.
And camera also Edge 30 Camera app is still laggy and alot of bugs

Love the phone, looks great, I think this will be my next phone upgrade from Realme 9 Pro+ however it does have UFS 2.2 storage, what's your opinion on this? Does it affect day to day performance due to the slower storage?
I believe aside from the so so SoC,a bigger downer in my view is the storage type - UFS 2.2 which is a big NO at this price point,plus its a downgrade from Edge 40 which had UFS 3.1 storage.Perhaps keeping the RAM still as LDDR4X instead of the newer LDDR5 variety was excusable,I dont think the same can be said about the storage which will affect many practical use cases.
I think there's a video on beebom regarding that. long story short, it's actually quite fast despite being ufs 2.2. I suggest you check that out.

The Moto has been a solid device hardware wise but it does have some weird software bugs. Like if the screen goes off while I'm on a call, I have to press the power button to wake the screen. Another one is the status bar clock vanishing and having to keep the device off to get it back. And if you get an internet phone call like from whatsapp while using a streaming app. The caller screen takes a few seconds to show up. Sometimes even crashing the app.
I reported the bugs on the Moto forum but the final answer is usually along the lines of "Noted, we may fix it on an update. No promises though."
Apart from those these the other software features more than make up for it.
Having the display port out on the usb C port is really handy. Coupled with the desktop mode where you can use your phone as a touchpad works really well.
The game mode got an update recently as well.
Great channel and ASH is brilliant... BUT this new aspect ratio is quite irritating. Picture looks to small on laptops and TV's ! Any chance that you go back to a normal 16:9 widescreen ratio?

Using moto phone for quite some time now and I love there Android experience and lots of useful features it comes with and benefits of using stock Android is your phone always perform like champ 🏆 very occasional stutter here and there but much better than other OEM but i always feel like moto need to step up their camera game like Vivo and iqoo and build a solid image pipeline for better photography across all devices❤.
It only needs slightly faster storage, flat screen, and good service centers. Kudos for the disclaimer; other youtubers (watched three other videos) didn't mention it.

because even the edge 30 pro from 2022 came with the snapdragon 8 gen 1, the then flagship
i understand moto are saving the 8 gen 3 for the edge 50 ultra, but they could have at least used the 7+gen 3 (as we have seen that the performance gains on it is quite significant when compared to the 7 gen 3).

For CE4 you've clearly mentioned that it has SD 7 plus Gen 3 and the difference between SD 7 Gen 3.
Please confirm if Moto also has SD 7 plus Gen3.
Also if possible make a comparison video between these 2 phones. It'll help me with the decision

The Lavender one looks damn good, I've got a similar coloured Galaxy A52s and I love it. This one has a very oddly satisfying appeal to it, gives a calm vibe of sorts.

PS: you might want to mention the length of the charging cable provided in the box.
You missed UFS 2.2 and LPDDR4X RAM. They could've have increased the price by 2k for this PRO version and instead went for better hardware which will help in the long run considering INR 30-35k is a lot of hard-earned money.
Agree its 2024 should be used at least UFS 3.1

Its has UFS 2.2 storage and Lpddr4x Ram, something you should mention as its key factor for many. I skipped to buy for same reason

They could have made it like 2k cheap and call it regular Moto Edge 50 and have normal 68W charging and 15W wireless charging and have introduced 50pro with 7+Gen3, 125W charging, 50W wireless charging for like 32k and with offers 30k.

4500 mah seems meagre considering it's 144hz and fast charging will just deplete battery in the long run. The video and the night shots seem kinda low quality but i guess those are the compromises at this point. I'm thinking of switching to this from a vivo flagship

Hey Ash. Nice vid. Should have mentioned that this phone's got UFS 2.1 and LPDDR4X, which for me is a deal breaker at this price point. Doesn't make much sense coz last year's 'Non - Pro' Edge 40 came with UFS 3.1.

Probably naming it pro because it does come with things which surely a Pro device would have like Telephoto lens,50mp front cam,advanced Ai features...keeping the device price similar to last year is commendable.👌
