Aldo and Clemenza (later replaced by Dominic and Pentangeli) are basically become Sub/Small/Secondary Dons in the Corleone Family.
Michael is the Main Don, The Godfather, but since he runs Las Vegas, he gave the control of NYC to Aldo and Clemenza.
Same thing in the GF2 game. While Dominic becomes the Don of NYC, Miami & Havanna and Michael even lets him to have the Corleone as surname and The Godfather title, he's still just a Secondary Don because Michael is still his boss.

In my game, I always give Don Barzini a taste of his own medicine by massacring him with a Tommy Gun. I intentionally don't get the upgrades for it just for that. It's a fitting way to avenge Johnny and Sonny
The ending is when you become Don of NYC. You have to take over most of the rackets and businesses and you get a call to go to Allotto Hotel in Little Italy for a special meeting. The final cut scene will play when you approach the building.
I'm kinda sad that you removed your previous walkthrough of this game.
The way you made Aldo's GF2 suit in that one was so much better.

i love the godfather games i think there was one more thing in the game if you take over new york all the side missions and were houses and some other stuff you become the don of new york thats the final part in the game .
too bad there was on godfather 3 game were the godfather 2 left off at the end domnic story ended
