    Thanks for your superhuman efforts, Doc. You simply go and go and go at it, tirelessly -- trying to disect everything it is possible to disect of this virus and pandemic. If all who ought to have had your dedication and work ethic had had them from the beginning and took as much pride in their work and humbly so with the desire to educate themselves about the topic too, since we're dealing with something novel, the planet would've been done with this pandemic by now. Sadly, the old standards are gone. Few believe in hard work these days, in humility, and in educating themselves. When such is lacking in those sitting on the top of the tree, especially, well, the result is there for all to see. Thank you for educating and centering us. Warm hugs.

    Dr. Campbell, thank you always for your updates and info. I've been following you since the beginning of all this and I really want to give you my warmest thanks for all the time you make on your presentations for us!
    I just don't understand why people don't wear their damn masks, even when it's mandated! They should be fined! If it's a mandate, it's a mandate, meaning wear a damn mask!!! I am from Southern Indiana bordering both Kentucky and Illinois. Our numbers are off the charts in this state and in my area. My city mandated masks a couple months ago, people still don't wear them. They go into gas stations without them, on a constant daily basis and the gas stations still serve them even with signs posted on their doors that masks are required. These gas station workers need to tell them to leave immediately as soon as they walk in. A few of our large box stores do follow the mandate and have people standing at the door stopping people from entering without masks. Overall though, it's about 50/50. I wish they'd crack down on people not wearing them. My husband does deliveries and I'm terrified he's gonna get it and bring it home. While I'm happy his job has found ways to keep him employed because so many people have become unemployed through all this, I still worry everyday he's gonna get it. His aunt is presently in the ICU in Kentucky with COVID. My family doctor has caught it and is still out on leave recovering. My cousin and her family has caught it. It's hitting too close to home. I'm sorry to the peeps out there who do not share my beliefs, but the US needs a HARD lockdown! This is getting way beyond control. A lockdown is the only way to help the rising curve we are seeing. It is about ALL our lives, its not a blue or red ideology. I'm so tired of the people screaming that it hinders their freedom to wear a mask. I mean really, what the af? What about my freedom and the freedoms of those who are wearing masks to protect you? It's absolutely insane. The CDC said do NOT travel for Thanksgiving, yet over 1 million traveled on a plane the day before Thanksgiving. We will be burying some of these people now, just in time for Christmas. Wake up people! This is a real disease, I cannot believe there are still deniers out there. Scary times.

      @sr.b8002 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      And why does the WHO state that lockdowns are not recommended? And why in France, did cases rise sharply shortly after masks were mandated? Maybe its because the “cases” are just positives with a rubbish test. The PCR doesn’t actually detect illness. The test results are misleading. Since when did we call someone without symptoms a case? Thats just a human being with a working immune system.

    Re. Vit d, I had my levels tested last week, ( thank you NHS), came back as 133 nm/l. NHS say they should be between 50 - 120 nm/l.
    Since October I have been taking 2000 iu's, but spent a lot of time in the sun over summer.
    On the advice of the nurse, I have been told to reduce my supplement intake, so I've reduced it to 1000 iu's per day. To be re tested in Jan. I'm aiming for 120 nm/l which seems to be a safe but effective level.
    For reference, I'm male, white, 61 years, medium build, fit and healthy.
    The only way you are going to find out how vit d you need, is to get tested.

      @johnwang9914 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      However many provincial healthcare coverage in Canada refuses to cover the testing for serum vitamin D unless you have a diagnosis that may involve low vitamin D levels. Seems like once bean counters are involved, we're not allowed to test unless it's already known...
      As to how much vitamin D to take. It isn't known at what level vitamin D toxicity occurs. Trials up to 10,000 IU's daily have shown no problems. In general it's advised to not exceed 4,000 IU's per day and it is assumed that your body will not produce any vitamin D that it does not need hence all that's needed is to take just short of 1,000 IU's and let the body top up the rest. I don't think it will hurt to continue taking 2,000 IU's, it just won't benefit you anymore than reducing your intake. During a pandemic it would be best to err on taking more than needed as there appears to be no down side to taking too much while there is in taking too little.

      @@mahwahazet4133 There's talk of the bat lady of China, in addition to another company head, in that area promoting bat rabies as part of the probable addition cache to the corona. This makes partial sense if you view the CBS 60 minutes special on covid long haulers hosted by Anderson cooper. Brain invasive after it attacks the body. All one has to do is add very small amounts of both HIV, human HIV and rabies to the host virus. I call it only covid, as CoV2 is a singular descriptive. A hybrid disease virus, is a combination of effects. The senior advisors of the company dumped all of this at my online business utility, because they were fearful of genocide retaliation. It was a small group in the final company in Wuhan's WIV that did this. All the progenitors of this brilliant idea based in 2013 wanted, was a virus to knock off the elderly and infirmed. The beginning cooks, did not know the end cooks in the awful formula. This is a hybrid super virus, that one really has to watch out for. Esters of chlorine in some way, in reference to covid, do seem to have an effect. Example is chlorine dioxide. You're welcome. Stocks dumped like rain in Feb to March according to Wash DC on finical reporting as the project went tits up. A lot of people had finically known about covid then.

      There are a lot of people who still do not own a Computer, or own a Smartphone. If MSM is unable, or just refuses to inform the population of the same information as presented on this Channel. This Virus will just sweep through the Population because of lack of Knowledge. Other than getting on a Soap box with a Bullhorn, or carry a Sign up, and down a busy Intersection. Everyone will watch completely preventable occurrences continually happen.

    The amount of travel during the past week over the Thanksgiving holiday here in the states is very concerning. It’s almost inevitable that it will lead to increased community spread of the virus. Looking at air travel alone it’s been the busiest week since March at the beginning of the Pandemic. The CDC and other branches of government strongly urged people to stay home however they did not listen. What will it take for these people to take the virus seriously? I was exposed to the virus back in March and have become a long hauler as I still have symptoms. It’s just incredulous to see all these people not taking responsibility.

They've experienced 30 times less deaths now. More than anywhere else and they did nothing. Take a look at the U.S. 5 yet averages. We were supposed to hit 2,910,000 plus deaths before covid. We likely won't reach it. It's a farce dude. This guys is telling pure non sense. @@lisakukla459 by picking one of these areas, learning about it, and figuring out what you can do to solve the issue and find others to help with that particular area.
      The first two are societal and cultural rules that we accept as being beneficial. Is it actually beneficial? An example of a social value that has ceased being beneficial in our culture is an aversion to wearing masks. This is currently harmful not beneficial. We have these myths and values to help us survive the challenges presented by our regional environment, resources available, plants and wildlife, weather patterns over a year. These values and myths are supposed to evolve as the challenges change not be held up as what to strive for, if they are too outdated they will cause us to not adapt to our environment and cause needless suffering.
      Our political and economic systems are things we created to help us survive as well, like myths and stories they have to be beneficial to our communities but not baneful to others to achieve that goal. No system is perfect because change is the only constant. These systems have to adapt to the issues and new challenges which occur. We have been applying quick fixes and band aid solutions to these systems but it is no longer working. We have to examine the underlying principles we based our systems on to see if they are still valid and ethical foundations. If they are not, the entire system has to change to reflect the new principles that replace them or it will continue to get worse. If they are ethical and valid underlying principles then we have to examine the components to see if they are still reflecting the principles they are supposed to reflect and change components that no longer do so. The founding principles of the RCMP are an example that has to change as it was based on colonial interests without reference to people living here if they were not colonists.
      The last two will automatically improve if we do any of the above at a personal level. Our ability to communicate complex ideas and critical thinking are two of our species evolutionary advantages. They have degraded because our culture and society has stopped valuing these skills as survival traits and now treat them as only valuable to certain jobs or professions or elites. We have replaced our team based culture with bosses that have developed these survival traits and labor that has not developed these survival traits beyond what is required to understand their bosses and to do the task assigned. We, as a dominant culture, have forgotten that bosses (leaders) and labor (followers) are equally important parts of effective teams. A leader can accomplish very very little without the followers and followers cannot accomplish complex long term projects without the leader adjusting what they are doing to continually move towards the goal of the project. To put it another way they are dependent on each other and their unique perspectives are all valuable information to help the leader make necessary changes to the plan to achieve the team goal.
