Honestly, this way more entertaining than I thought it would be haha. It was a noble effort! Your calm demeanor and willingness to just go with it makes it fun to watch too. I was on the fence about a 690R, now I kinda really want it LOL. See if I can get my dad out on the trail and camp somewhere. Look forward to seeing more of your trips.
Awesome video! Quick question for ya, is it a pain fueling up with the tank being in the back and having your gear on-top of it? I'm thinking about getting an Enduro bike and I think I'm going with the 690. Cheers!
Hey there. Thanks for watching! The blue rolled up mat is the only piece of gear I have to undo to fill up. It is a pretty simple thing to untie. I would say that adds no more than a minute to fill ups. Obviously, not as good as sitting on the bike and never needing to get up!

Hey man! Just seeing your last few comments. Really glad you found something you like here. I'm enjoying making this stuff! Yeah, the 690 is a beast.
I think the 690 hits that balance between weight, service intervals and power/torque.
I’ve got a tall windshield and tower on mine. It makes a lot of difference in fighting the wind on long trips. I couldn’t do without it. 👍🏻👍🏻
My first thought: Hey, that looks like Eastern Washington..lol. I'm over on the West side riding my 701...

You can get a front tank too. Some use both.
