As an Indian, I can't help but be happy to see that in the West even people doing work like farming, plumbing, mechanics can afford to follow their passion of motorcycles. Unfortunately people doing these jobs here in India don't earn enough to follow their passion. Great work as always. You and MAD Tv are two of my favourite motorcycle related channels.
I think brother, so far we did not have that culture of traveling far and exploring places. My own father throughout his 70 years of life did not travel beyond Maharashtra and Goa. But the current generation is awakening and the internet is giving exposure. I have seen people tour on Hero Splendors and power to them! For everybody outside of India, Hero Splendor is Honda SuperCub based 100cc bike that Hero manufactured for Honda till few years back via their joint venture. After their split, now Hero has retained the Splendor brand.
India is one of the most magical, mysterious and adventurous countries on earth. I travelled 4500km on the Hero impulse 150cc from Dehli to Leh to Kashmir back around to Varanasi. It does not matter what your motorcycle is, two-wheels is all you need and the ride I completed with my father through the Himalayas is one of the greatest Adventures of my life. I love India.
The crazy thing is in Europe you can't buy a bike like the Hero. You have to pay at least three times more. So yes, some people (not everyone) make quite a bit of money, but everything is very expensive and that includes motorcycle insurance, maintenance, spare parts, tires, fuel...
I totally understand what you are saying. I'm from Philippines and I cannot afford KTM bike. I have Yamaha XTZ 125cc but don't let a lower cc bike discourage you from going far places. I know I won't go out of country but my motorbike can take me far from my place. I hope you'll be able to tour in your own country. More power to you and your fellow motorcycle riders. Ride safe brother!
You are truly one of the most inspiring people I have ever seen in my life. “all u need is a pair of wheels to start ur adventure” this resonates in my head every time I go for a ride
Are you kidding me? You are one of the greatest storytellers I’ve ever heard please continue. there is so much of your life that I went through the same thing divorced parents partying, drinking and motorcycles and the one thing is definitely come out of. It is the motorcycles. I still love them today at 47.
Wow the diversity of Australia is incredible. That white sand is stunning, the camera really shows how it could get you into trouble if you're not careful.
Having watched this video a few months ago, I immediately booked my tour with Top End Moto. The earliest available booking was for mid-2025 but, travelling alone, I was able to move up to May 2024 when a vacancy came up. It was an amazing experience akin to a Six Day Enduro! I made it to the tip of Cape York but my 65-year-old body took a battering.
You did it again @Ariemann1!!! Managed to get a smile stuck on my face! The Australian country is the ultimate playground, no wonder you have such great athletes and the views are amazing! Looking forward to the 2nd part of the journey and I hope to be able to ride that country some day... Keep up the Motology!
Hi Adam, As someone who is almost in their sixties (within 2 months), it still gives me hope to make the switch to enduro/off-road riding, when I see these 50s and 60s going crazy here. My compliments and respect. I have ridden guided light off-road / gravel roads with a KTM 890 Adventure 2022. And I really enjoyed it. As a small, self-employed roofer, I am always a bit wary of the possible consequences of a fall, because I like to accelerate ;-) I envy you all because of these wonderful off-road possibilities. For us, Australia looks like one big playground for tough dads 💪 I love all your vids, awesome 👌🏻👍 Keep on riding 🤞Best Regards from Zuid-Limburg (Netherlands) 🙋♂️
Great video! I'm 55 and traded my 2012 350exc a couple years ago for a Duke 790 to give my body a rest.lol I did a lot of enduros and dual sports back in the 2000s in NJ and NY state on my 2004 450 exc. I love seeing the older guys ride, lots of respect for them. I also was a blue collar worker( road construction). Thanks for bringing back some wonderful memories. God bless you 🙏
Another superlative video Mr Riemann. A mate that I ride with did the same top end ride All the way back when the bikes they were using were XR400s. He now rides a KTM 500exc. They really are a do anything, go anywhere, all round weapon of a bike. I reckon I would have to become seriously bike fit to even attempt a monumental ride like this one. You guys are all legends and there's just something about the way you document your adventures which let's the viewer feel like we're right there experiencing it with you. Bloody love it. Keep em coming. Can't wait for part 2!
That is epic so soon from your War Horse adventure Impressed with everyone’s riding skills, drinking skills and most of all your overtaking skills on tight tracks Well presented Adam and thanks again for your time and effort to bring this to our living rooms Thanks Dave
what a feeling when you buy a couple bottles of beer after a hard working day and go home to watch another brand new Adam's video on a big screen )) especially when you at different continent in a winter time. thank you mate .. thank you!!!
Love it, we're in the first day of winter in Canada and it sucks, cold windy and snow on the ground everywhere. I miss so MUCH riding my bike right now. Thank you for the vids to keep me sane !!!
Wow of all the tour companies I’ve seen doing cape trips this looks the the best. No accountants riding drz400 tractors and never standing up. Great trails, a snappy bike and a great group of seasoned riders. But we have to look at the comparison between the 500 and the war horse. Half the weight, a smaller less comfortable seat but so agile. I hope it’s answered by the end of the trip, but when you sit down and plan a trip like this yourself, year you can do it cheaper, ride solo and eat 2 minute noodles each night. But paying the extra and not be on your own bike, have a support crew and have a great feed at the end of the day, the large price of these group rides seems a lot more reasonable then first thought
Hi all it’s 3:10 am in the USA WEST COAST I just started watching and have too say this is over the top an EPIC adventure watching guys my age ripping it up I hope to be picking one of KTM 500 exc up very soon to the film master ya just made gold with this post thank you all for giving me a thrill of riding with you guys on this journey from home a new fan. JoP
I've got the same bike here at home and I couldn't be happier for a dual sport and BDR weapon. Love seeing this type of terrain, epic riding indeed. It looks like I might have to book a trip to Australia to ride with Top End Moto Tours after I do the Ride With Locals in Iceland.
Adam, as usual creating another phenomenal & riveting video for us to enjoy. Thanks for always putting in effort of fantastic videos & sharing all your experiences for us to enjoy.
CREB, Flattery, Starke and thru Lakefield into Musgrave. Some of the coolest riding on the planet I reckon. Love that ant hill plain in the park. Blasted through there on my twin 2 weeks ago on the way back from a quick hit to the cape (4days up and back). Was a toasty 36 degrees. Awesome video as always.
Love your work. Reignited the passion for adventure and dirt bikes I had as a kid. I know it's a long shot, but I'd love to see you tour Sri Lanka. Possibly loads you can show of the country that locals will rarely see or appreciate. Either way, all the power to you to keep doing this to your heart's extent. Ride Safe!!
Man its -1 c and wet in uk but my 350excf is going out tomorrow morning to shred some byways in Kent. You always get me pumped and want to ride man. 💯😜👌
Brilliant story telling and videography Adam 👏🏻👏🏻 Loved watching both episodes and had a great laugh at your narration. I just bought a 500 EXC-F. Giddy-up!
What a trip!! That looked a right, proper hoot! Coming over from Scotland next year for the British Lions Rugby Tour, Now hoping I can squeeze that in to the schedule...Truly epic. Thanks for taking us along of the ride Adam. Cheers and Beers, Michael.
Another epic video @ARiemann1. I did the ride to the tip last year with a different tour group. I love all your work but I just wanted to point out that salt water crocs get a lot bigger than 3.3m long. Cheers mate.
Just want to say, @ARiemann1 you are my inspiration and I love your story telling. Every time you post something like that, I grab a beer and watch a documentary. I love it and I love what you do for moto community. This is masterpiece, truly from my heart. Thanks mate. Much love from Georgia (country). Visit us, perfect place to explore on motorcycle
Epic landscapes and trails documented perfectly 🤘Curious how the newer 500’s are compared to the 2017’s you rode in South America. I almost bought one a few years back. Amazing work on the throttle & cameras, cheers!
Three days in and one minute of video left and I thought, Alright, were going to have a part two. Then I thought, Crap, I have to wait for part two. Really enjoy these Motology Films. Thanks.
On a 2017 exc 500. 4th to 5th very close together. 5th to 6th quite the gap. Read it’s remained that way through 2023. The 12-16’s were equally spaced. How’s the gear ratio spread on the 24’s?
That looks like an awesome riding experience. Not had any as tough as that but not far off in 🇿🇦. We have the croc’s in some of our rivers and fighting with monkeys for fruit in the trees as sustenance on a long ride. Stoked to see the next instalment.
"Ego remains intact".....lol. Love it! This trip looks amazing. As always, stellar production. Can't wait till you come to USA someday......I could keep ya busy on trails in Arizona. Keep up the good work.
Amazing video, really makes me want to go ride in Australia some day! Your editing is top notch, I didn't even realize it was 45 minutes long and was disappointed when it ended! 😂 Can't wait for the next episode 😉
Wooooow 👀😍 Total adventure 👏👍🏆 great fun to watch and I can only imagine what it's like to drive 💫Fantastic💫. Greetings to all and thank you for the video. Ljubo 🖐
Riemann I’ve been waiting for another 500 video for what feels like an eternity and I’m glad to say that this was well worth the wait. I race and do big distance rides on the 500 here in South Africa, honestly mate I would kill to do a trip like this with you it’s so far up my alley it’s frightening and the fomo I’m feeling right now is inexplicable! I’ve been a massive fan of yours since 2013 and all I want to say is thanks for sharing the passion that we share so poetically with videography that’s nothing shy of extraordinary!! 🙌🏻🍻😎
Yet more brilliant content! 👍 I’ve been lucky enough to fly over the Daintree Forest and those Silica dunes/mine on route out to Lizard Island on the Barrier Reef and that is some serious terrain to enjoy. What a fantastic trip to do, thanks for taking us along…
I’ve been watching your video here lately and you honestly so humble can’t wait to see what the next one it’s about to be another great adventure I want to come to Australia to ride look so beautiful
I am currently unable to ride for a while, but watching these 45 minutes feels like its allowing me access to part of your thrill...
Feel for you tini, same situation...no worries will be back on the horse in no time...good luck with your recovery 💣
Hey lads I lost both legs in a work accident, I was back riding 3 months later i was barely out of hospital. Don’t let anything stop ya…
@@nothinyaseehere9449I lost my head a couple years back and still riding.

Good to see older retired riders taking part in their dream rides...and the young ones to help us out if needed.

Yes indeed, over 5m in the NT apparently. Specifically in the FNQ, 3.3m was all google gave me ...

The Crocs up here can actually grow over double the length that you said. You were right about the weight, nice vid mate
Australia is a beautiful place, untouched in many places. Why couldn't my ancestors be bad 😅 I could have been enjoying this down under
Breath taking 🙌🏾 … more content please …absolutely phenomenal
This is the type of video that made me fall in love with your channel
