Why keep referring to these trucks as pickups? I learned to drive truck in a B-61 Quadraplex. If one is good enough and confident you won't strip a few gears float 'em, auto tranny not required.
Oh look a sterling that is not on fire. It’s a rare sight indeed! Used to work salvage at junk yard for Semis we used to see a scary amount of Sterling burn down.
As a retired trucker who drove some of these gems, I'm giving a 'thumbs down' here. Not because of the content (um, seeing a R model Mack in a segment of the B is stupid) but rather due to it's AI generated narration, which shows you just how little these boys know
Yeah the "Blue Mule" footage in the middle of the GMC L series was a boner move.... and I was never a trucker. I stopped there. They are just throwing crap together to get clicks.
Computer voice irritating because relentless. Also pick-up trucks these were not but the term is used throughout. Is anybody even looking at what is being assembled during the video's making? Recblocked.
Who is taking and editing the video? The Narrator is talking about the truck model but some of the video is NOT showing the truck he is talking about!! 1 case in point; he's talking about the B model Mack and the video is not always showing a B model Mack while he's describing it!!!!
How come you state Cummins Diesel and show a Gasoline engine. You say Peterbilt had a short wheel base then show a long wheelbase chassis. You need to get your facts right or just quit making videos on a subject you do not know very much about. Retired 58 year long truck driver.
My work used to have a bunch of those sterlings they were all v beds or regular dump beds then they went to single axle ones if you were lucky and the speed sensor would quit working you could fly
This is such a waste. So much inaccurate info. For one, Freightliner bought Ford heavy trucks and changed the name to Sterling. Sterling name was owned by Freightliner and renamed Ford to Sterling. ABF had the first truck named Sterling after the Ford name changed. ABF also ended up with the very last truck under the Sterling name. The last group of Sterling were not bad trucks.
The pictures are fine, but there are so many inaccuracies that it's a better bet to mute.

Thats part of my video
That's awesome you guys used it for this video!!
Vid: *opens with pictures of trucks that I've seen all over the place*
Me: Hooboy...
This video makes me think it was created by AI with the wires crossed….

Got news for you---- NONE of these trucks were rare--- especially Sterlings and Volvos. WTF, man!!!?????
You forgot about the GMC steel tilt cabs with coil spring rear suspension, that's rare, almost non existent.
47,000 B61 were made. 351 was made for about 14 years and still was on the books for another 8 years. Doesn't sound that rare to me.
I'm 14 and have seen 7 of these trucks at least once and sat inside one of them
Oh look a sterling that is not on fire. It’s a rare sight indeed! Used to work salvage at junk yard for Semis we used to see a scary amount of Sterling burn down.
Speed is determined by gear ratio, not which engine is under the hood
Damn rights ratios , engine, and transmission, but ratio and engine size and power is where speed capabilities come in.
1:49 it's a (Set Back Axel) not a Cab Forward
I see some of the Auto cars with the diesel have plug wires on them also

Or saying the Autocar was a cabover model!
Computer voice irritating because relentless. Also pick-up trucks these were not but the term is used throughout. Is anybody even looking at what is being assembled during the video's making? Recblocked.
The R200 Binder was tough.
What about Marmon?
20 years ago when it was in school a local gravel pit used them exclusively and i always thought they were cool
Dimond Reo

I agree with Ed Smith
All the trucks are beautiful
Any reviews of Diamond REO trucks?
The DC100T was a neat truck. The Pete 351 was near the perfect truck.
10:40 HEY! Thats an image from the movie Maximum Overdrive!!!
351 Peterbilt. Best of all time
How come you state Cummins Diesel and show a Gasoline engine. You say Peterbilt had a short wheel base then show a long wheelbase chassis. You need to get your facts right or just quit making videos on a subject you do not know very much about. Retired 58 year long truck driver.
Just shut the sound off and enjoy the video!
Not sure the C Series can be considered rare having been made for 33 years, but ok.
The C series cab was also used by Mack as an N Model
Ford built a tall cabover using the C series cab. Ford labeled it the CH, my Uncle Don called them a two story Edsel
My work used to have a bunch of those sterlings they were all v beds or regular dump beds then they went to single axle ones if you were lucky and the speed sensor would quit working you could fly
I drove the C ford with a 3406 cat. engine 10 speed box i loved the truck.!!!!!!!!!
Do you have any reviews on Marion?
The Autocar Trucks also were know for split shift transmissions, which if not use to, was a hassle!
Was this a game ? Point out the pictures and terms that don't describe the particular truck {pick-up truck} they are talking about ! Lol
AI generated garbage !
I love me some dum,dums
Where was the international Emeryville cab over?????
Interesting but inaccurate in so many ways. One missing rare tractor was the Brown.
I've been a truck mechanic in Canada since 1976 and none of these trucks are rare.
They are now!
No Freightshakers!
lots of nonsense
You missed the morman it is the rearest
Not very enlightening
F700 was not rare freight hauling son of a gun for all the years it was made
This is such a waste.

If you're talking American trucks, why is a lot of your video from other countries?
AI sucks
