    Omg, omg, omg, why was is it so hard to find a piece of media where I see an image of a point quadrat and, someone explaining how to use it in!
    Thanks so much!

    Can you use the one quadrat along the transect? Or do you place several of them at varying intervals?

    Can you measure the quantity of the water to measure in the water i'm measuring? how do i measure the worm population with a quadrat? incomplete method imo..

    hello, how can you determine the starting point when using random sampling method and how do you go about when the area being sampled is quite large for instance intertidal habitat

      I’m not sure what you mean by the starting point. For a large area you could use a number of gridded areas to make data representative and maybe use a map and random number coordinates to decide where to place the grids. You may also want to use belt transects for the intertidal zone as the species will vary as you move down the tidal zone from high to low tide.

    how do you put the point transact down? parallel, perpendicular or at an angle to the rope?

    • @biologypracticalsandrevisi8066
      @biologypracticalsandrevisi8066  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Obaid333 it doesn't matter as long as you do it the same every time. You will never be asked that in an exam.

      sorry another question
      when do you use a belt transact?

    • @biologypracticalsandrevisi8066
      @biologypracticalsandrevisi8066  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Obaid333 when your investigating areas the species present vary as you move across a habitat e.g. Down a rocky sea shore.
