I wouldnt call college a scam, but i graduated hs last year and have been learning the same stuff I learned in hs but for a lot more money. So that's great. Thank goodness for financial aid and good luck in community college.
bro I feel you, I dropped my career this semester (i was studying communication) and my plan was to enter visual arts but I feel like school only waste my time and money cuz I have many projects coming and while I was studying I can't focus on that, and its kinda ironic because the projects I'm working on its what I was studying for... so... and this felt so personal because i want to make films to, I don't have a formal job, but I'm making money from what I know and like to do (editing video, like you, lol) so, honestly I never felt like I make a bad decision, I feel so nice with no studying, but making new projects and making money from what I want to do my point is: don't waste your time and make what you really love, and what you really know is worth it
that's exactly what i want to do!! that's great you're getting to do that though and hopefully i can just keep working hard and be able to do that, cause im not tryna be living in debt and learning nothing

You are still young so you have plenty of time to figure it out. College is not a race. Is it a scam? Probably. Is it necessary? Yes, depending on what industry you want to tap into and definitely to separate yourself from the pack. Depending on what you want to do, it may be possible to take an entry level position and work your way up without a degree. If it's something you truly want to pursue after being exposed to it, go back go school. You'll figure it out.
Did you ever look into SCAD in Atlanta or Savannah? They specialize in the film and anything arts. And probably a whole lot cheaper than Berry! You definitely don’t strike me as a person who’d fit into Berry college lol that’s out in the middle of nowhere.
i was planning to go to scad atl and paid the $60 application fee and everything but i realized it was still very expensive and my scriptwriting professor told me it wasn't a v good school actually
