I think these guys did a great cover of Randy Travis' song especially with Tim taking the lead. What I love about Home Free is how respectful they are of the original song without adding unnecessary things. No theatrics or bass drops. Just beautiful singing & harmonies with Adam adding his special touch. I thought it was cute when Tim sung about hair turning grey & he looked up at his own hair.
This is a heart hugger for sure. If anyone can inject even more sweetness into an already endearing song, Home Free can. Tim just killed this with his beautiful voice and the back ground harmonies sounded like angels with Chance covering that bass line, so, so nice. Every aspect of this was beautiful. Adam's vocal percussion was amazing. I don't understand how he injected an emotional, tender vibe with his performance, but he did. Never thought I'd describe vocal percussion as pretty, but this sure was. The guys never disappoint. Sorry about your cousin. Great reaction.

Carrie and Home Free are great gateways into country because they're not pure country. Carrie's more pop country and Home Free is pretty much everything in one. I mean, Home Free is originally from Minnesota, which isn't really country. They became a country group for one reason: that's what it took to get them on the Sing-Off. Having said that, they certainly do country well, which won them the Sing-Off

I love Tim's voice and I respect their choice to stick close to Randy Travis' original but I really miss Home Free's arrangements and resulting harmonies. Unless I miss my guess this choice was based on the fact that they have been extremely busy touring--yet they still choose to put out new content for us. Love them for that❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️
