Right up until my husband of 46 years passed away at the age of 66, when I looked at him, I still saw the 16 year old boy I fell in love with, so this song resonates for me. Tim's voice is perfect for this song and the rest of the guys' voices sounded so beautiful. Adam's vocal percussion sounds so pretty, it's extraordinary. These 5 wonderful, talented guys were put on this Earth as a gift from the universe to spread joy, positivity, respect and kindness. That's what I believe. Thanks for the great reaction.
I just have to say that I really enjoy your reactions and your smile is infectious! I agree with you that a stable home life is best for kids. My wife and I provided a stable and faith based home life for our kids and all three grew up to be well balanced and successful. My wife and I just celebrated 40 years of marriage. Thank you for your channel, and like you, I really enjoy Home Free!
I love your reaction to Home Free's rendition of this song. Hugs and kisses are what keep a relationship strong and going forward. And some common courtesies (please and thank you). It's worked for the fifty-four years that my husband and I have been married.
You may like another Randy Travis song called "Deeper than the Holler". The premise of the song is that he doesn't trust the cliche ways of describing how you love someone ("I've never seen the ocean...") so he spells it out in things he knows - it's deeper than the holler, taller than the pine tree, etc. He had a real gift for simple and sweet love songs.
This cover, gotta put you in the mood :) Dave, my wife & I used to dance the two-step with my wife, to the original back in the day when it came out in 1987 and Randy Travis sang it.
This song was written around 1987 by Paul Overstreet and Don Schlitz & originally performed by Randy Travis. As ALWAYS, Home Free does NOT disappoint!!!
A lovely and happy song. Although I am not in a relationship at the moment and do not plan to have one anymore, I still love this lyrics and hope that many will have such a love. My first loves are my four children and my mother. Then my brothers and sisters. My partner passed away three and a half years ago. He is still in my heart, although the last few months have been very difficult for me to live with him because of his drink and mental problems. Again, well chosen which voice best suits this song, because it sounds great with Tim as the lead. Tim nailed it. And as always amazing harmonies, backgrounds, bass (Chance) and the incredible vocal percussion. The video is simple, yet good. That's it with Home Free. Put them somewhere, let them sing and that's enough. The voices and their appearance do the work
I think these guys did a great cover of Randy Travis' song especially with Tim taking the lead. What I love about Home Free is how respectful they are of the original song without adding unnecessary things. No theatrics or bass drops. Just beautiful singing & harmonies with Adam adding his special touch. I thought it was cute when Tim sung about hair turning grey & he looked up at his own hair.
I love to hear your sweet thoughts and memories about your wife and marriage Dave. So glad to see a couple making it work and loving each other. Too much divorce now days. Some don't even try. HomeFree did a wonderful job to a very amazing and iconic song 🎵. Thank you 😊✌❤
OW My god i love your reaction you seems like a great guy Dave, and to the song Home Free did it again i think Randy Travis is proud of this cover love it 💞💞💞💞👏👏🙋♀🙋♀🫂🫂 go and hug your wife hugs from Norway 🫂🫂
They also released The Driver a few weeks ago.....beautiful song. I don't think you've reacted to it yet. Love your reactions. This is also beautiful song. Thanks and great reaction.
My wife, Kerri, passed away on June 7th, and this song is the perfect analogy of our 25 year (23 married) relationship. I hope your love stays as strong for just as long if not longer, thank you so much for this reaction. Side note, Kerri loved Home Free and was listening to alot of their songs over and over for the last few months of her life in the hospital.
Tim sounded so good with this song. Adam with the beatboxing looking happy and Rob Austin and Chance smiling just makes you feel good. I met my husband when we both were 16. Married at 19 and had a great life. He passed at 63. Miss him tons but the great life we had with two boys and grandkids keeps me smiling.
Hi dave? Ithis was a great reaction. I really love your reactions. But. I looked on your home free playlist just to see if I somehow missed you reaching to the driver. You should please, please, please react to the driver. I know you are busy but this video will touch your heart. Thank you dave.😊❤️
This is one of my favorite Randy Travis songs. They did such an amazing job with this song. I love when Tim sings in his upper range. Truly enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.
Ahh, Dave , my husband and I have been together for almost 44 years and celebrated our 40TH wedding anniversary in March..and yes opposites attract..I'm fire, he's water..love her forever..thank you for reacting to my favorite boys 💖💖
Aug 5th will be 33 years with my wife. Dec 2023 will be 30yrs married. We've watched each other gain our wrinkles and gray hair. And all 3 kids have watched us grow old together.
Chance and Tim both had covid in Canada, towards end of tour. Tim did Chance's parts then Chance did Tim's parts. Great reaction! The Driver is awesome, if you've not listened to it yet. Congratulations on your number of years together. I have 47 years this year.
Happy Anniversary! My parents were married for sixty years before my mother passed. One of their tricks to keeping their marriage fresh was taking separate vacations every year with friends from college. The women would go one place and the men another.
Congrats on your upcoming Anniversary Dave! My hubby and I have been together a long time and we’ve been through births and deaths, sickness and health, good times and bad and we still love each other. It’s easy to love someone when you’re both young and beautiful and full of energy but it’s harder to love when you’re older, have an illness and your body breaks down. But that’s why I love him more today than yesterday as he loves me now when I’m older and gray. (Hint: he’s older and gray too!). That’s the beauty of growing old together. This is a really sweet song and Tim was great. I loved him looking up at his gray hair….hahaha. Good reaction Dave! 🥰
When I met my husband a long time ago I thought he was the ugliest human I had ever seen, lol, that was me as a 13 year old child. I am now 58 and have been married to him for almost 40 years and he is the best looking man I have ever known. Amazing what we see when we are so very much in love. 🥰 He is good looking from the inside out.
I love Tim's voice and I respect their choice to stick close to Randy Travis' original but I really miss Home Free's arrangements and resulting harmonies. Unless I miss my guess this choice was based on the fact that they have been extremely busy touring--yet they still choose to put out new content for us. Love them for that❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

Agree with you about Home Free ... they always make the worst day much better !
Loved your comment about the Home Free effect! They never fail to make me feel something when I listen to their music.
Its scary how much Tim actually sounds like Randy in this song. I finally got to see these boys in concert and I simply love them
These guys just make your day & you feel good for what they do for your soul 🥰❤️‼️

Beautiful when Randy sang it beautiful when Homefree sings it! Thanks Dave
Another great cover from Home Free
This is such a great cover of the Randy Travis song and really sizes Tim's vocals and Adam's beatboxing. Thanks so much for reacting to this.

Hey Dave, love hearing you talk about your love for your wife...makes my heart happy. You might want to listen to Avi Kaplan's new song "My Queen"

Aug 5th will be 33 years with my wife. Dec 2023 will be 30yrs married. We've watched each other gain our wrinkles and gray hair. And all 3 kids have watched us grow old together.
Congratulations on your anniversary! My parents are celebrating their 61st this year! True love happens!
You are wise in love and a truly nice person.
Love the love you have for your wife!!💕

Tim got COVID right after Chance
Now that Chance can sing bass for Tim hes taking more leads. Their so good. I was praying for Chance when I heard he got covid.
You should have her with you for this song.
Randy Travis would be very pleased with this.
Tim does it perfectly.
Happy anniversary, Dave.
July will be 47 years for me and my best friend/wife
When you go give her a hug like that, she'll probably start asking if you've been listening to Home Free again. LOL
When I met my husband a long time ago I thought he was the ugliest human I had ever seen, lol, that was me as a 13 year old child. For your anniversary play remember when by Allen Jackson. It will make you cry with how emotional it will make you both (not in a sad way mind you).
Congrats on The 14yrs. I'm going on 33yrs with My Husband. We Have a Date night 1or 2 times a month. Dinner & a Movie. ( Oh, We still hold hands .)

Rob had covid too
I was looking for In The Blood in your list but don’t see it??
I don’t think I’ve done that one yet.
