It's great watching an interview where there is no bashing of anyone. Ms. Eden has just always been a classy woman to me....not an act. I was born the same year as her son where I grew up in the rural south, and I can say that drugs were introduced to me when I was very young, but I remember that I told my mom right away. I've never tried them, but some of my brotjhers did anyway. Give your child love....that's all you can do. The child has to do the rest. God bless you Ms. Eden...and Matthew!

tho not as tragic a life, as she's lived a long time, as Curly Howard of the 3 Stooges, it's so sad that some of the people that cause the most joy in this world, don't have that joy in their personal lives. l love both these people, and wish they would have had happier lives.
Larry was an alcoholic during Jeannie and would scream and yell at the crew etc. Barbara said she would go into her trailer as she could see it coming but he was always nice to her. Larry even admitted he had problems. I am surprised he lived as long as he did he looked 150 years old.
When she occasionally appeared in supporting parts on "THE JOHNNY CARSON SHOW", his 1955-'56 prime-time comedy/variety series on CBS, she was often billed as "Barbara Huffman" or "Barbara Morehead". She wasn't officially known as "Barbara Eden" until the spring of 1956. Larry Hagman could be a "handful" to work with, because he was naturally jealous of the fact that SHE was getting most of the attention on screen instead of him, and he insulted various guest stars as well...
