People are more surprised Emily is alive then the killer being Josh
Because everyone pretty much knew that Josh was the killer at some point and because two or three red flags may have supported their suspicions:
#1: Josh was never around when some of the more disturbing scenarios happened to Sam and the gang
#2: He was the only character with a possible motive to do this; for Mike, Emily, Jess, Ashley, and Matt, it was payback for what happened to his sisters; for Sam, it might be because Josh had a crush on her; but it could've been that he assumed that Sam was indirectly involved in Hannah and Beth's unfortunate deaths. For Chris, it could be the same thing, but I feel like Chris is being tested on his loyalty to Josh, which is why he was put into these life-or-death situations between him, Josh, and Ash.
@@jadahayden1130 Actually I think he says or at the very least implies in one of the lines of dialogue that he was trying to give Chris that extra push to admit how he felt to Ashley Because he was sick of the constant romantic and sexual tension emitting from the two of them and them dancing around it and was just like WILL YOU TWO FUCKING GET TOGETHER ALREADY 😂🤣😂 but I could just be completely making it up I don't remember when he says the dialogue I'm thinking of if he even says it and I'm not just making that up in my head but I think it was on the way to the shed or in the shed or something

I love how they all say “I knew it was josh” but the game purposely led people to be suspicious of josh, then they sawed him in half to get rid of that suspicion. And almost every playthrough I’ve watched, they all stopped believing it was josh after his fake death. So no lol, almost none of you actually knew it was josh. (Except pewdiepie he actually called that the death was fake right after it happened)
Exactly! I've seen this technique/trope used only a few times (that I can recall), and I love it. It plays with people's expectations. Make the obvious bad guy suddenly irrefutably innocent or out of the picture, only to reveal that he actually was the bad guy after all. A 360 degree twist! :D
And yeah, you definitely can't say that you "called it" if you were fooled by the fake-out twist. :P
D.H. I don’t really think that matters, i think when most people see that they think it’s just how the game is portraying gore. And in pretty much every play through I’ve watched, they all believe that josh died in that scene, so I don’t think it’s that easy
