Everyone commenting here saying that Mike would obviously die from choosing to run at the first chance, which is true. But let's not forget how hard it might be to hold still AND keep track of who's still in the lodge after that first choice.
People are saying these TH-camrs are either stupid or selfish but honestly, Until Dawn has VERY untrustworthy (not bad) writing. That's the thing about it. You could go with what you think is the right choice but then the game will get someone (or everyone) killed for it (I know lots of games like that). There's plenty of these moments peppered throughout the game. I probably would've run for the switch too, thinking it would prompt everyone else to run (hell, I would've thought Sam would yell "RUN", prompting everyone to do so). I probably wouldn't have saved Mike, thinking it would get him or both of them killed. You just can't trust this game (and that's why it's so great). (I've yet to finish this game. I'm only at the part after Josh "died".)
If you think logically you will get most, if not all characters to live. Unless you fail don't move sequences or to many QTE's. I can only think of two deaths that is hard to avoid. Matt in the mines and Chris being decapitated. In my first playthrough i only lost Matt.

Surprisingly your the first comment about this I found. It's so annoying hearing "I swear I didn't move" after seeing his tongue like that.
@@nextdoorgamer3985 It was satisfying to see how he fucked up while trying to act cool lol
cory’s play through was definitely understandable, sure he didn’t know if he was fast enough he could save Jess. he didn’t know that certain areas would lock him into a different area. and he didn’t know what it mean but just “run” he tried to save mike but he just couldn’t understand the terms of the choices because of the pressure and suspense. *he tried to so hard to save everyone but couldn’t*
Only 3 people saved Mike.
1) PewDiePie gets screwed over by the game's bad mechanics and Sam dies, Mike lives
2) Poiised gets Sam killed, Mike lives
3) Mini Ladd, who actually tried to keep Mike alive AND sam
And nobody wants to save Mike... Poor Mike, we Will remember you like a very nice Guy with your Little wolf :'c
Really?? 😑😑😑
I guess ppl failed to realize that turning on the switch and the gas fume would cause an explosion. Selfish! Lol.
Jojo yeah this proves ppl are F**ed up , ill save everyone they said, but when situations like this arise, they wont hesitate to leave you behind for their survival.....
@@Ace_CentriC exactly!! In these situations you really have to think and pay attention to the game. Like what would happen if I turn on that switch and there's gas coming out and there's ppl still IN THE HOUSE lmao
Jojo ppl in state of fear they tend to forget to use their heads but only thinks of their survival.... its a sad world were living in
I didn’t realize the plan with the switch the first time but I did realize that Run to Switch meant not saving Mike 🤦🏾♂️
Has two obvious choices with one literally saying *SAVE* Mike.
*Runs and gets surprised when Mike dies*
🤦♂️
You missed a bunch of others who did this:
* KSI
* YogsLomadia
* MM7Games
Jack Sanders you mean 3 others not a bunch
Markiplier.
They didn’t wanted mike to die but they prefer to save themselves first, and this is video game. Mentality
Save Mike? No, run to switch!
"Why is Mike dead?" 😂
9:00 him screaming NOOOO everytime he found out he killed someone 😂😂😂
Idk if everyone else done it but every the stay still happens Cory was like “PUT THE CONTROLLER DOWN!!!!!”
you type like you had a stroke.
I love that they are sad that they didn’t save mike WHEN THERES A OPTION THAT SAYS “SAVE MIKE”
Just imagine a wendigo screeching *right in your fucking ears*
Cory takes don’t move to a whole other level lmao dude is a statue 😂
The fact that so many people run to switch instead of save Mike is beyond me. Even my first play through it was common sense
U saved everyone with common sense like i did didnt u?😂 I swear the majority of that game was my straight horror movie knowledge nd my own common sense.
@StarofNite06 no I've watched others play and my husband when it came out. I know the right moves
Nobody gonna talk about the save that wendigo made at the end
Hannah recognizes Sam that's why she save her
@@awesomegirl5190 She literally kills her if Sam moves at the section that is 10 seconds before. It was more of a "It is MY territory and she is MY food. Die bitch!" situtation.
I played the entire game and when I came to this part I pretty much knew that when it said "save Mike" it meant to save Mike.
Yeah it seems pretty stupid but I guess some players assumed that by risking to save mike might kill sam as well so they weren't willing to make the sacrifice
i hope you get banned for this!
@@EricToTheScionti Why does OP need to get banned for?
The irresistible urge to run to the switch LOL, never gets old.
4:03 Now you did it, Poiised! I told you not to move the controller just like I did to PewDiePie!
I love how nearly every gamer thought right after Mike destroys the lightbulb WHILE HE IS NEXT TO IT AND NO ONE RAN OUT YET they think it’s times to blow them up lol
*Pewds playing Man of Medan* : Game, you cant kill two characters, the nine year olds will kill me
Lmao at their reactions to Mike dying.
Cory: [run to switch] YES! [Mike burning] DANG IT! 2:54
it never said that
2:23
My dad yelling at me to do my chores
People must think that “Save Mike” means Sam will die instead, that’s why they go to the switch
