I'd love to get one of those dropside, quad-cab VDub vans from the 60s my uncle had one. Compartments everywhere like a boat. Not a camper those but the van platform is the best.

I’ve seen a few TH-camrs with problems with Canon cameras. Such an expensive product to be having such issues. Joe, I think you are the McGiver of rebuilding things. You always find a way.

Just a thought but wouldn’t it be best to get the van roadworthy and drive it for a couple of weeks to make sure it’s ok, before doing all the conversion work?

You really should have a drop vent where your gas bottle is , LPG being heavier than air it will pool in the locker if there is a leak

Has the engine developed a knock in the head?
Engine’s fine but these seem to get sticky lifters if sat for a bit. Once it’s run for a bit after park up it’s fine
