I have had my Ridgeline since 2006 and has 315,000 miles! I love it but I know it’s close to getting a new one! I’ve been waiting for the 2024 and was so hoping it would come soon! I want a different color exterior and I would love a moon roof! Thank you for the review
I just paid 37,000 for a base model Ridgeline Sport and it has a ton of stuff included in it.. a standard buttery smooth V6 engine with a good transmission and standard all-wheel drive and it's very roomy inside including the back seat... it came with a trailer hitch and wiring... unless you need to tow 6 or 8,000 lb I don't know why anybody would buy anything else.. Rides n drives SO GOOD
I've enjoyed and learned from all of your Honda Ridgeline reviews. Was going to buy a new 2023 Tacoma, your videos helped narrow my decision to a 2023 Ridgeline RTL. One note, my 2023 RTL does lock/unlock the tailgate and trunk from the Keyless remote (setup on the Infotainment system > Vehicle settings). The glovebox trunk lock/unlock switch is a master override to prevent the keyless remote from working to secure personal goods in the trunk when doing a valet park. The glovebox can then be locked with the physical key to prevent access to the switch. Hand the keyless remote to the valet and keep the key. Very nice feature.
After using one I would not hesitate to buy this Ridgeline. It is a fantastic truck that is handy for medium duty use such as carrying lumber, concrete, garden materials, etc. The bed trunk is fantastic. Are you watching GM, Ford, Ram, etc. A regular size sunroof is fine. A full-size console would be great. Throw the small armrests in the junk pile. Thanks for another review Tom.
I bought on 4th of July weekend. It's been a great vehicle so far. People who see the tailgate that swings either way and trunk in the bed are like, "Whoa, that is cool!"
I bought a black 2023 Sport model yesterday. The supposedly base Ridgeline. I don’t care for leather seats nor was I ever interested in a sunroof. Bluetooth & backup camera were always sweet in other vehicles I’ve driven. And yes, I’m one that holds onto a vehicle for >14 years. My only concern is towing a bass boat with approximate weight of 3,000 lbs. I have a friend that has a Ridgeline & tows an 18’ boat & he has no issues … we’ll see even though it’s rated for 5,000 lb capacity. The deal breaker for me with buying Honda over GMC full size crew cab was strictly economics. GMC Sierra SLE in 2008 was 28k. Same truck is with dealer adjustment is 60k. So in 15 years GMC Sierra doubled + in price. With that, you’ve priced yourself out of my market. Also the Ridgeline is assembled in Lincoln, AL … good ol U.S.A. 🇺🇸
Next Ridgeline needs the Odyssey interior. Get rid of the piano black, use carbon fiber inlays instead. Heated/ventilated seats, and cloth as option for higher models.
If Honda doesn't update the Ridgeline soon 2024, Honda will lose sales to the newer updated Mid-size competition Also needed up date on the dash and Info system, 360 cameras , and Ventilated seats for southern buyers Come on Honda why so slow to update??? Love to purchase a Ridgeline but getting tired of waiting Nissan looking better every day!!!!
I just don’t see any real value of the Black Edition over the RTL-E or even the RTL. The cosmetics of the stitched seats, black trim, and some red ambient lighting aren’t compelling to me at the price of near $50k.
@VehicleVisionary Would love to see rear door storage bins / pockets. Would love to see the USB ports on the rear A/C be moved higher up on the A/C unit. Would love to see it have 3 options for the Moon Roof, Moon Roof, Panoramic & None. Also add Ventilated & Heated sets to both front and rear for here in the USA, after all, the Truck is built right here in Alabama. You would think the ventilated seats would have cam on the USA units instead of the Canada units. I have watched a lot of reviews on the Ridgeline and several from owners that live in Canada and they commented that they didn't need ventilated seats. Would love to see Honda move the shifter over to the right with a shifter handle and move the cup holders to the left. Would love to see power folding mirrors. Would love to see the instrument cluster panel like on the Hyundai Santa Fe has. Would like to see Honda update their camera system so it would also be like the Hyundai Santa Fe, it gives more viewing options. You didn't mention if the truck turns off when stopping at a red light or stop sign, and if the engine does turn off when stopping, is there an override button so the engine does not turn off? Also would love to see a Blackout Edition in like the Cajun Tricoat or a Light Marron Color. Thank you for the video.
It does have a button to turn off the start/stop feature ,it’s located in the front of the shift console but you have to engage it every time you start up

Bought a 23 RTL a couple months ago. Love it and it does all I need it to do. Looking forward to a road trip this fall to Arizona for the winter.
Love this truck. I bought a 2022 and it’s been a joy to own. Great road trip vehicle
I have a 2017 Ridgeline Black Edition and I love it. Smooth ride and good gas mileage . ❤
I’ve got that exact truck for my daily driver, smooth ride and great mpg.

Great review Tom. The Ridgeline has such a nice ride and it’s capacity is very nice as well. Thanks again.
Absolute beautiful and the most important feature was left out the price really a lot of truck for the price

Thank you for sharing, Steve!
If they would increase ground clearance an inch, and update the interior, it would look better in my opinion.
The 2024 Ridgeline TrailSport trim comes from factory with 1 inch lift .
The only thing holding me back is the infotainment (screen/OS). Needs updated ASAP.
Ya man it reminds me of the screen menus those cheap tvs and dvd players used to have back in the 2000's
Next Ridgeline needs the Odyssey interior. Get rid of the piano black, use carbon fiber inlays instead. Heated/ventilated seats, and cloth as option for higher models.
Is this pick up truck available in the Philippines 🇵🇭?😮

I own a 2021 Honda Ridgeline BE, I wish they make the truck a couple of inches higher so we don’t need to modify it.
Either the factory puts a 2" lift on it or you can do it yourself. Whats the difference? Its cheap and easy to do
