The B110 for warmer weather and the B310 if it's a little cooler or wetter are two of my favorite pieces of kit. I wear it over my waterproof, more expensive arcteryx and carinthia or wool stuff and it protects it and provides a camo layer. Waterproof insulating layer plus one of these is my compliment for 99% of weather from +40 to -40
Thank you for this video. The dpm is great, my issue was woodland camo. Absolutely love it from my bias, next wood be of green , old but good. I just ordered a 2xl in Canada camo since it's half off for the mountain smock. Great video and I agree in how you feel. Take care .

Nothing wrong with a good bit of DPM. I've a couple and also have an MTP Smock with the fleece pockets and tbh I'm thinking of dying it green just to dull down the MTP. I've seen it done and it looks great.

I have one of these on XXXL because I am a fat bar steward. Great coats.. not cheap but worth over the Chinesium variants the British Army have as stock gear
its windproof as it is a very thick ripstop, material , but combine it with the stowaway shirt, its very effective in the current weather, just a great all round smock like the old SAS smock, it has some DWR finish so it shower proof, i am liking it. and would say i recommend it ,depends on your camo
Arktis is excellent kit, I have the original SAS smock from back in the day and it was great bit of kit (although my soaked NI gloves of the same vintage were not so great at the time) and I would say the Arktis is better/upgrade on it. John is correct on the windproof shirt also a great bit of kit, good review and from someone who knows what it's like to be cold/wet over many years of service, so his thoughts are valued.
the jacket in the video is a 2 xxl size, i am 6ft 4 or 193 cm , my chest is a 48 inch, its very loose fitting and it is a waist length jacket and not long in the body completely covering my arse like some mountain smocks or the NZ swanndri ,
Could any of you fine gentlemen advise me on the correct method of sizing up UK/NATO kit? There's lots of figures, numbers & measurments that have me bamboozled. For example, where to measure sleeve length from and how much allowance to make for inner layers etc. Do I go for the next size up or are such items as the smock designed to accommodate 2/3 layers as standard? I've got a 44" chest and long, long arms so I'm always nervous in case l end up looking like Catweazle. Cheers!
DPM all the way 🇳🇿 I have a few New Zealand Army smocks the yellows and greens just a little bit lighter than the British DPM works at treat in our native bush
those lighter colours ,especially in the trousers were hardly sought after , still very rare today, the Arktis colours on the jacket, are darker and mainly black and brown, my question to you is the NZ army still using DPM ?
