    I just have this scene in my head of the British sniper that broke the Canadians record:
    Sniper: How far?
    Spotter: 2375m.
    Sniper: Bloody hell, that's only 55m from the record. We can break it.
    Switch to Monty Python style overhead shot of the team running 100m away from the target.
    Sniper: That's more like it.

    Seriously, please please please do more episodes like this. This was a really good one. Bawwlz is an amazing player, the military facts were superb to listen to (seriously, 700+ kills in 100 days!) and the intermission music was on point.
    We all see a lot of gaming channels kind of peter out over time. This one just keeps getting better.

    I know I am way late to comment on this but, I feel you missed a name that needs to be mentioned. Francis Pegahmagabow from the first world war needs to be known. 378 kills against Germans in the trenches of France, plus another 300 hundred captured, did crazy shit like standing amongst the enemy soldiers in their trenches and cutting pieces off the uniforms of sleeping German soldiers as souvenirs. Definitely worth a research if you guys are interested in your military history. Great channel, thought I would hate neebs for reminding me of players I can't stand but I have grown to love the channel in general. Last fact for Doraleous, he was awarded the Military Medal 3 times for his service.

      Pharaoh Abasi Hayha could throw bullets like darts and they'd kill from hundreds of yards away. You can't put flowers on his grave because they will wilt and die immediately.

    Carlos Hathcock actually trained my Uncle in the Marines before he retired. He actually did your old job, Doraleous.

    • @novuspatriarch
      @novuspatriarch 9 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Oh I know that. He probably trained only the actual snipers. But I'd say being able to hold up against his son is pretty impressive. I'm a fair shot myself and always wanted to be a Marine sniper. Hence my fascination with the subject.

    I feel an honorable mention should go to Sergent Chuck Mawhinney, United States Marine Corp. Served as a marine sniper in Vietnam and logged 103 confirmed kills and 216 "probable kills" over sixteen months. Holds the record for most confirmed kills by a marine corp sniper. He was interviewed on the History Channel documentary 'Sniper: Inside the Crosshairs' and they recreated one of his best shots in 'Sniper: The Anatomy of the Kill.'

      +brainflash1 There's a lot of good snipers out there, who don't get any credit where it's due. They were completely forgotten about when they went home, and some of them have had more kills than some of the ones listed. The thing is though id they were added the list would be too long.

    • @hiabyss_kiss
      @hiabyss_kiss 9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Nikolai Belinski Dude no one can beat white death. And hathcock was a fucking beast and has one of the most interesting kills. And one of the longest shots was on this list so I think these placements were well deserved.

    • @heebiejeebies4625
      @heebiejeebies4625 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      aiden Distefano The people who I were going to mention had at least 300-500 kills each. Although Hayha had 700 (200 with an smg) they still can at least beat Hatchcock. Not to mention that one of them was from the Kaiser's War where it took longer to reload weapons and was harder to be accurate.

    • @hiabyss_kiss
      @hiabyss_kiss 9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Kills isn't everything. These were personal favorites of his so there were other factors such as the badassery and specific shots such as the farthest and one of the most interesting shots.

    good vid! i'm a sucker for WW2 related stuff, so i knew a couple of these would be on the list already. also know about the "best sniper shot ever" story, but...yeah. really enjoyed this! something happened for the first time ever, though. i usually just zone out on the video and listen to the audio instead. this might have been the first time i ever actually watched the video part and found myself zoning out the audio cause the sniping was so crazy. blown away by some of those clips.

    Hey guys, I'm a big fan of your work especially Doraleous and Associates. I saw that you have published some work through hishe which is another channel that I enjoy watching and I just wanted to ask you if you've ever thought about putting up the first episode of D&A through them. I'd love to see more of Doraleous and Associates and I know you guys are always saying you'll make more if more people watch them so surely it makes sense to show it off via a channel that gets several million views for every video they put up. Maybe there's a reason why you haven't done this but I'd be interested to know as D&A is such a fantastic show and deserves to be seen by more people. World peace, guys, thanks for your time.

      +Vilkas Vision He does have a long shot just not the longest but i do think he should have been on the list because of his service and bravery in the face of danger i think Chris Kyle should still be alive and not dead on american ground from another Marine but that guy who killed him... i think he was hired from our government to be silenced because he was a threat to Brock Obama because he was able to shoot far distances without being hit or what not. So that's why Chris Kyle is dead....... it's just so sad one of our soldiers were killed on US ground and not on enemy ground it's just mind terror.........i cry every time i see a Us soldier killed on US ground. Sniff Sniff i really am crying right now......

      well that's because there was a lot of skepticism about his kills because he claims some things that a lot of people that were there that day with him and he confirms they were there with him tell a different story Plus Simo never used a scope ever so that's why
