I said the same thing on hiddenxperias video, but Halo’s FPS gamers need to embrace RTS long enough to try out Halo Wars 2. We were Atriox and Banished fans before their recent fame and notoriety in Infinite.
To be honest, it's most likely that the Banished are more of a threat than Jul Mdama's Covenant. They fought for outdated religious dogma while the Banished fight for themselves. Jul was a fanatic with more faith than sense while Atriox is practically a tactical genius possibly on par with Captain Cutter. Jul's Covenant remnant was mostly made up of Sangheili, essentially honour-bound space-samurai, and whatever dregs were left over from the Covenant. The Banished are made up of seasoned veterans who fought the Covenant for as long as the Covenant fought Humanity, as well as possibly decades worth of stolen war machines and an Assault Carrier's worth of Sangheili mercenaries (the mere idea of a Sangheili mercenary implies a lack of honour, and so no reason to fight fair unless they were looking for redemption through glorious death or something). Overall, Jul's faction fought like the Covenant, with all the pros and cons the UNSC were already familiar with, while the Banished present absolute savagery and ruthlessness driven by Atriox's cunning and ambition.
Actually Jul'Mdama was not a fanatic nor he was a honorable fool. He projected the image of a zealot to influence his followers. He only cared about destroying humanity. Also, he didn't consider the Forurunners as gods.

I'm actually kinda scared to fight The Banished in Infinite. They give off the same vibes as the Red Legion from Destiny II (from a lore standpoint, at least)

One big example is the use of unarmed conscripts and slave labor (suicide grunts and engineers). So maybe they might do something interesting like his empire being destroyed as he unknowingly slowly becomes more and more similar to the covenant causing a conflict between his soldiers as they notice what he's doing. The unsc could use this uproar to get an upper hand, like what happened in the great schism but instead it's elites and brutes fighting elites and brutes. I know that this seems like a very unlikely outcome, but it is interesting. I still wonder how the banished can be stopped.
Okay little bit of criticism, you speak with too much purpose. You make it sound like every word youre saying is the most important word I'll ever hear. Everything else was great just speak with a little less purpose and little bit faster and I feel that your videos will become even better. This is just my opinion and I am new around here so I apologize if I stepped on anyone's toes
I wonder if they'll be able to upgrade and modify the starships. Such an endeavor would be costly, but imagine the dread of the audience when seeing that they made full on starships tougher, meaner, and deadlier. The audience has come to expect the Banished to be even more scary than the Covenant, so just the sight of a warship's purple replaced with red and white armor upgrades will already tell them to be afraid.
Fun fact the Banished have been shown to have used the Type 26 A and B versions of the Banshee. I wouldn’t be surprised if they also use the post 2549 Wraith model also.

we always knew the banished was bigger we just never knew HOW big. but it makes sense given the nature of atriox vs juel atriox knew how to command and lead when and who to give rewards to and most important when to wait.while jeul did have the gift of the silver tongue and while a fighter himself he was more of a poor schemer more then a leader. also a poor waiter and not knowing when to pick a fight
I came from hiddenXperia and I gotta say I didn't regret it and if you don't mind there are other things that we'll make your videos better you have to be a little bit faster and making your voice a little louder and more would really help but anyway I love your video and this are just things that might help you
Thanks for the advice mate! I’ve had a tendency of speeding up my recordings sometimes, so I tried to slow myself a bit. And as a perfectionist I hate how loud my voice was with the music so I try to have a little more softer. But again thanks for the advice
