As a former F-16 crew chief, I will NOT be skipping the ground start procedures. Love the depth of realism you add to your campaigns. Just like your Top Gun Campaign for the F-4E, I WILL be getting this one. As always, outstanding work sir.
"Everything in this campaign is optional, you can make the choice in the ED store to buy it or not". Bro, this had me in tears from laughing so hard. Thank you for making my day. And thank you for making this campaign of course.
Been watching the Beta Test missions on Carbon's channel, this campaign is awesome! I was a RQ-7B UAV operator in my Army days, the sound of the crew chief plugging his headset into the jet is dead on, it's near identical to what I've heard when I plug a headset into our ground station.
I am excited to get this pack, i love the content already. Keep doing great stuff for the community. As someone that strictly just plays the viper and is purchased a lot of winwing gear for it. I love to see all the mission coming out, thanks a ton. Lol I just learned how to air refuel it's going to be a great lesson.
Learning and following all these procedure will be another challenge that I need to fit into my time schedule. But these deep involved campaigns are so immersive and the most fulfilling when you learn it all and get it right. Looking forward to these campaigns and keep up the extraordinary work you do!!
When you first released your Speed and Angels campaign, I was hesitant to buy it because I wasn't sure if that much realism was going to be fun. But, I gave it a try anyway and now I'm hooked!!! This campaign will be an instant buy for me and you better believe I'm going to do everything from startup to shutdown, no unicorn farts needed! If anyone is on the fence about the realism, I say just give it a try. You may think you will get bored with it, but you won't. Trust me.
Reflected, I'm glad you're having aerial refueling as a standard part of the campaign (with an Unlimited Fuel option). That seems the perfect balance to support all players, while keeping with your authorial vision. I've played all the other SP campaigns available (Red Flag 21-1, FIWOS and The Gamblers). Really enjoyed them, but it's obvious in some missions how much the designers are warping the mission design so that players don't have to refuel. At this point, the Viper's been out long enough that players should either learn how to refuel, or select that Unlimited Fuel option you're adding. Looking forward to this campaign!
@@ReflectedSimulations True, but I like the way you put in your video. You're not forcing users into anything, but if they want to fly with realistic fuel consumption, they'll need to learn aerial refueling. All good.
No skipping here either. The reason I do this whole thing is to get as close to "the real experience" as I can, and your campaigns never disappoint. Looking forward to it. Keep 'em coming, they just keep getting better and better. Thanks!
Thank you for working around all the crippled logic minefields of DCS for us! Let’s hope AI will get a huge boost in the future to do correct formations, patterns, Aar ops etc.
19:53 yeaaah 🎉 🤣🤣🤣 More serioulsly, Baltic and yourself are one again pushing away the boundaries of campaign creation. We are so lucky to have such massively talented content creators on dcs !! Time for me to dust off my viper and practice startup and aar.
Amazing! I've been following carbon's playthrough of this and cannot wait to fly this. Also cool to see that our vSquadron is doing these realistic procedures well (like authenticate and checkins). Great work! Now when will a realistic campaign that is focused on training and procedures in peace time come to light, would be amazing!
I know i will fail 100 times, but i will try again 110 times. This level of immersion i well worth my time, money and learning the Viper even more. We're lucky to have two such amazing campaign creators. Thank You, both.
Being from the area where this mission takes place and hearing constant talks about this very situation of Russian attack- This mission and especially the Hornet campaign will be a must have for me. Thank you Reflected and Baltic!
@ReflectedSimulations I won't say exactly. But let's say that I spend a lot of time in Kuusamo, which just got added to the map. Additionally, I've often been at Ivalo and Rovaniemi.
Looking forward to this and great timing with the f16 handling improvements. Are you interested in the Viggen at all? It would be awesome if there were Viggen campaigns matching this level of detail and immersion. There’s so much flavour in that aircraft that I think a campaign like this would absolutely shine
I think once/if DCS will have in-mission saves possible it will greatly enhance the playability of campaigns. I think there's a limit on how many times I would be prepared to cold start a mission from scratch and then have the mission break because I didn't catch the proper procedures or was shot down again. Luckily DCS doesn't crash on me very often anymore, that's what killed my "Enemy Within" campaign. I get the whole "study level" thing but I'm also at the stage of Dad Life when my free time is very limited. I think "Paradise Lost" was just right for me in terms of complexity and it was the first campaign I played all the way through.
@@mazikainen i’m also in that dad life stage :) that’s why I added the immortal option, it should save you from everything except ctds. The procedures won’t break the mission, you really need to blatantly ignore an on screen message to break it. Then again, I’ve seen things before 😆
That's it: it SOUNDS complicated, but it really isn't, there will be plenty of helpers in the missions. You'll get the hang of it soon and it will make you a much better virtual pilot.
Hey Reflected, since there is a lot of Mav action, would you mind to do a video how to proper boresight the Mavs in your campaign? Usually I do this on the ground and look for something suitable to aim nearby, as far away as possible. But your missions depend on timing, so I guess there is no time for this on the ground

I found out recently flying with a buddy of mine and he informed me that I in fact did not need to pitch trim in the viper and was actually sabotaging myself by doing it I've been flying the viper since it came out and i learned this 2 weeks ago AAR has become a lot easier in the viper since being told this 😂
I've enjoyed your other campaigns so far, notably I've made it through a decent bit of Speed & Angels, and loved the hell out of Paradise Lost, and will probably end up picking up MiG Killers. As much as I'd love to fly a modern campaign from ya, I just don't have the interest in Kola to justify a zillion gigabytes and like 60 bucks. I do hope you make some more stuff like this for other maps in the future though. Best of luck!
We are sharing everything but what each of us ends up implementing in our missions that’s up to us. But there will be lots of common things between the 2
Will there be some air to air in this? So many of the “inherent resolve” style campaigns (fighting against a Russian backed group in Syria) have the occasional intercept but no fighting. I’m worn out on F-16 SEAD work and am looking for a mix of CAS, Interdiction, Strike, SEAD with some air to air.
