I had a roommate whom I strongly disliked, so I vowed to never share a room with anyone ever again. Some get mad at their roommate who doesn’t even list and has broken a promise or promise, which has happened with a former roommate of mine.

I went to Asbury in the 70s and it is so good to see present day videos of dorm life at Asbury. Lots of similarities but definitely more modernized. Great job! Love your room!

Wow I think I would go bananas if I had to share such a small space with someone else (I mean I realise that it's a pretty average sized american dorm room but I'm from germany and we don't really have shared dorm rooms) but you made so much of the space and it looks really cute!! (:

typically the pull out part of the desk is for your keyboard or to work on... like when using a desktop to study... you put your keyboard on that and push it in when using your textbooks and stuff that are on the top with the computer or the other way around

They have a community kitchen for each hall and some dorms come with individual bathrooms and kitchens, depending on how much you want to pay for dorm life

GIRL. First of all, we have the same name and spell it the same way, so THAT alone is real cool. Second, SAME. When I was your age, I wanted nothing more than to go to college, but take your time!! I literally graduated from high school almost 4 months ago, and I'll be moving into my dorm this coming weekend, and I am SO nervous yet excited at the same time. You have plenty of time right now, and you'll get there one day. It comes faster than you think.

probably just use paper plates, plastic cups, plastic forks/spoons would be the easiest! But they most likely use the bathroom sink!
I'd imagine they have a shared kitchen down the corridor a bit for their dorm block
I used to wash mine in the bathroom sink when I lived in a dorm. But for the most part used paper playes
At my brothers collage each floor or dorm shares a kitchen that has like an oven, sink, etc

elyssa johnson most halls have kitchen areas. if not then the bathrooms. a lot of people just use disposables anyway.

I'm from europe. What happends at colleges at weekends? What do you do? Do many go home to their parents? Any clubs,nightclubs, parties? Do college students leave college, like being in town?
Idellle people dont really go home on the weekends unless they live really close. Even so, they come back to school. people stay in their dorms year round and find things to do on campus and around the cities such as parties, events, etc. during the weekends and weekdays. Colleges in america are fun because there is always something to do.
