Flying on Delta’s 737-900ER, Reg. N849DN, Las Vegas to New York-JFK. LAS-JFK in April 2023.
Long taxi-out for departure on LAS RWY 1R.
Climb-out to the northeast over Lake Mead before passing over the Grand Canyon, just West/NW of Flagstaff, AZ and Grand Canyon National Park area.
Video then resumes passing over Southeast, Utah and then Telluride, Colorado areas while headed east.
Video resumes over New York State or North Central Pennsylvania at dusk while on initial decent into New York Terminal area.
Footage resumes heading South parallel to the coast over Asbury Park, NJ before doing a 180 degree turn to the north.
Video resumes over Long Island, New York, as we turn South /Southwest onto an extended Final Approach to New York’s JFK RWY 22L.
Total flight time, 5 hours and ten minutes.
