Very good info video. That Norqua battery runs a Garmin Striker 4 plus for 2 days. I get alot weeds on transducer, easy fix using a Yakattack switchblade mount. That causes interference with a bunch of bleeps like there's a school of 200 crappies beside me 😂 After reviews Garmin has very sturdy head units but fragile wiring. Lowrance has way better wiring but the head units break easily. I went for Garmin.
My fish finder was working fine last time I was out, and then for some reason the screen just turned red. I get no depth or sonar now, just speed and water temp. 🤔
Good tips as always. I also use Nocqua voltage regulator to make sure i get consistent voltage from my Noc battery. Might be overkill but it seems I get a smoother operation.
What could be my problem? I got a Lowrance hook 5ss second hand and when turned on and sonar starts, the graph looks like it’s being delayed or stuttering when mapping
Reason #14: You're middle aged and your brain needs time to buffer every time you try to mess with sim cards and tweezers. lol, but for real, I might just only use my Lowrance for basic use. The phone apps are easier for me to 'see' and do waypoints on. I used to blame it on the glare...
Great tips thank you
Glad it was helpful!

You and me both!
Great Video Idea! Can’t wait to watch
Thanks boss!
Great tips Brother.
Thanks boss!
Good stuff!
Glad you enjoyed it
I’m still waiting for my fancy computing finder machine to say, “those things you just went over are giant bass, you dummy”!
Still waiting, obviously.
I like that.... a fish finder that talks to you.. HEY, PICK UP THAT JIG AND THROW IT 20 FEET OFF TO YOUR RIGHT! Brilliant Liz
I have had my Nocqua battery still going strong after 6 years. I use a little dielectric grease on my cables.
Boom!
The biggest problem I have with my fish finder is that it's still on the shelf at the store. I need a solution for that. 😁
Haha I’m right there with you!
Agree I'm between a newer trailer or upgrade electronics, it's a tough call
Should have been my Number 14!!!
@@wendellfishing 😂 Perhaps...
I have that exact same problem!! lol

Dang... that one is weird
@@wendellfishing yeah I think my transducer may have crapped out on me. 🤷🏻♂️
Ugh@@XploreAz
@@wendellfishing I guess it’s a good reason to tell my wife I need a new fish finder setup. Haha.
Pro Tip: Tell her after you bought it ) @@XploreAz
