I discovered Simon & Garfunkle by hearing this song on the radio in 1966. Bought my first LP in 1967. I have admired them ever since, esp. Paul Simon's songwriting.
My God .... you are totally connected with the cosmos .. with the universe .. something from beyond ,,, it is impossible to interpret this way if you do not have a connection with the universe thanks for the music. Thank you that God gave you the gift of being born and celebrating your ears.

Even if there was sheet music available for this cover, that little eye-brow raise at 2:24, EXACTLY between the F and F# is NOT in the script!!! You sneaky girl, you!!! See, that's why we love you so much...when you play a song, you can do it with no sheet music at all...you can do it with spontaneity...you can play whatever you feel...and you always feel whatever you play!!! I just listened to this song three more times after getting home this evening, and there are so many things that are right about it that I haven't enough words to describe my joy. One of the many things that REALLY makes me smile is your arrangements, Sangah. They are soooooo unique, and always beautiful!! I just love how you slip in little "surprise notes" here and there, yet still can play the songs without losing their original artists' DNA. (You can mix your own musical DNA with theirs, and still produce a song that sounds just as true to the original as it does to your own flavors! You love to surprise the people whom you serenade, and your surprises are ALWAYS delivered with only the best taste in musical excellence! Bravo for your arrangements!!! 👏!👏!!👏!!!👏!!!!👏!!!!!
For some reason, I like this version even better than the original Simon and Garfunkel song !!! There is so much uncertainty, even slow struggle, moving like flowing molasses, yet there is that tiny sliver of hope that goes in and out - almost like flickering light. That is the emotion I get out of this version. I really LOVE it. I will come back to listen multiple times.
