The lyrics is not only about his girlfriend that died, it's also saying how Divide would be proud of his creation if he was alive.

The reason why silly billy is so tall is bc Bf is canonically 7 feet tall. The reason why he is portrayed as being so short is bc of his childishness. So it would make sense that silly billy is so much taller than him. And when he mimics bf, he’s acting childish.

The character we rap against in this song is called Yourself, he's based around a concept character that Divide had made before passing away (Called as Lookalike, the direct inspiration of Yourself), seems like a tribute to them in some way, and I fucking love this song.

I think the whole My Way segment turns this from a solid "Fight your dark self" battle into a sad yet beautiful tragedy. It shows how despite everything, even though Yourself and Herself are at their absolute lowest and have suffered so much, they still care about each other. He still just wants to make her proud, and even after death she stays by his side to cheer him on. It's sad, but also kind of heartwarming in a way. As someone who's lost loved ones, I feel the emotion in those lyrics every time I hear them.

They were one of the developers on the sonic.exe mod who died in their sleep during the development of the game so the other devs made this song in the mod to pay respect to them
Fun facts about silly billy:
The original creator called Divide, but people call divine made a sketch, but sadly he died due to cancer in his sleep, so a group of people continued his works and made them into a mod which we know as silly billy which can be found in the 8th week. The lyrics are supposed to be dedicated to him, As one of them says "I'll make you say how proud you are" means they wish he could be here to see his artwork and be proud of them, "Stay Awake" is a reference to how he died in his sleep, and it means they want him to be alive to see his works. Truly sad he died, because he created a masterpiece that brought the Friday Night Funkin community back from the dead.

I never thought I could be sad about the story of a mod. I don't consider Yourself a villain, he just wanted his girlfriend back, and he probably felt guilty about what happened... I also loved how this mod paid homage to the Divide, and in the lyrics it also referred to the Divide so much as for Herself. Simply my new favorite mod

the fact that behind Silly Billy there is a gameplay layout, this makes me excited about the mod, as it represents the fact of imagining yourself as if it were Divide himself playing his creation, a very subtle detail, along with the detail of the girlfriend appearing in a Frame hugging him, along with the detail of him having demonic wings, like a fallen angel. I uh, just want to point something out. Throughout the song and gameplay there are multiple instances where you can see him depressed or sad before going back to his corrupt mood. And when he does the my way cut scene, after he say "my way" the second time you can actually see tears streaming down his face. And after it ends he goes back to his original messed up state. It's sad during to the fact that he's trying to hold all his sadness in of losing herself and accepting it...

@Urhandsomeboy No, his health bar icon doesn't show anything that I see. But for example of one that does show, whenever he is transforming from his Bf state back to his regular state. If you do .25x speed and pause it just right after he his first regular state leg juts out, you can see pain or sadness etched on his face. But it soon converts back to his "happy" smile. And whenever he's doing the my way cutscene, after he says "My way" the second time he slouches. On his face when he does that are tears streaming down his right cheek.
@Urhandsomeboy Pause at 5:33 and look at his right cheek. That one is the most noticeable out of all the times he shows his pain. You have to go into .25x speed at certain moments to see what I'm talking about.
Also when he. Says “how proud you are of me” you can see he is frowning and might be holding down tears

People really need to stop spreading misinformation about Divides death and the lyrics. Devide never died in his sleep. It was never revealed how he died, and it should stay that way, because its ultimately none of our business, and can honestly be really damaging to the people close to Devide
