- Don't worry, my channel isn't turning into an AMVs only one. But I wanted to finish this today for a very special occasion, namely:

I'd be lying if I said I'd originally planned to finish this today, but when I realised it would be your birthday I couldn't just let it go by without making you something, and what better way to celebrate than by vidding this show we've been fangirling over lately? THIS SHOW, MAN. THIS SHOW! I could not be more grateful that Gin and Nabs convinced me to watch it, because I love it so much! It reminds me a lot of Avatar: The Last Airbender with its action, humour, depth and incredibly well written characters. If you haven't seen it yet you should definitely give it a shot! All the episodes are on Netflix.
I tried to balance this video equally between all the main paladins (sorry, Coran), but I think I didn't manage that entirely as it favours Shiro, Allura and Keith a bit more, since they are my favourite characters and seem to have more fight scenes that fit my vidding style. But hopefully future Voltron vids will be more balanced as I'm still working on getting used to the material. And if you're wondering why there's no s3!Shiro in here, it's because I 100% believe that he isn't the real one and it therefore seems a bit weird to vid him. Here's to s4 clearing up where the real Shiro is and what this fake!Shiro's deal is.

I'm binging Voltron edits after season 7 and wow. I don't think any tribute has ever given me such chills. The timing, voiceovers, blending of fight scenes, the sheer badassery factor: absolutely stunning. This has to be my favourite edit out there.

Oh my god, fuck me UP, this is SO GOOD. 2:20 onwards especially gave me chills, oh man
I love literally everything about this - all the voiceovers compliment the song and the editing so well, and everything flows really nicely; there isn't a single clip out of place and it's so SATISFYING TO WATCH
+ The pacing here is AWESOME; you build tension really well and there's a real sense of catharsis by the time you get to the last chorus and everything just EXPLODES, for lack of a better word

This is Legitimately the greatest thing I've ever seen, I got chills on top of the chills on top oF THE CHILLS because all these scenes are so amazingly put together, I love the Shiro running turn into Keith running/ knife throw, what a smooth transition! Good fricken job mate!

I love the choice of dialogue and how it flowed so smoothly. The lyrics of the songs fit so well with the clips you showed and how nicely it tied in the end. This is just amazing and I am speechless. Ok so I know nothing about this but my first thought was "it's like anime power rangers!"
Anyway, Anouk, you can vid anything and entrnace me every time. I love how you essentially made a condensed story in this video, you started with them struggling and apart and showed how they come together to fight and how they still have moments where all is lost but then you built it back to show them once again coming together to fight again. I love how each section of the story fit in with the music build up (the slower parts with them hopeless and feeling defeated and the build ups with them coming together to fight and the epic shots at the major beat drops in here ) and you honestly just can take any media and make such emotional and heartfelt videos that have all the hallmarks of an Anouk video (namely parallels and an actual coherent story to them). I love this and imagine those who actually know the story would be ecstatic with it
