Good afternoon from Cape Cod 🦈 it was nice to see all the modifications you need to do to make the screaming Ford dependable in the extreme cold. It's good to see the truck still working hard. Xena's plants are looking nice. Keep up the hard work and the cool videos guys 👍✌️🇺🇲
afternoon coffee in the Kingdom, hot day at +30c or 86f so the bass gave us the afternoon off. i hope the older i get i can still keep the collectables up and running. thansk
Hi Joey. Back in the day I used to drive a 69 Mack conventional. It had the 8-71 Detroit with a Fuller Road ranger. She sure was a screamer! Hell I loved that truck. I used to pull a 9500 gallon tanker trailer, and that bastard ran!
I love ur daughters little interjections in the video between u and the kingdom and now ur kid this channels makes me smile to see the strong independence between the both of u at the end of the world and I actually learn things cuz I sit thru u speaking and get good insight
Great video!That "screamin ford",is a beast!Everything is well thought out,functional and serves a purpose,very impressive.The "staff",is a helluva gardner,too!
The old stuff still works. I still use my 1971 GMC 9500 on the farm. It’s got a 2 stroke Detroit and is a twin screw too. Yes you are right about a single axle with a tag they are useless. (Ran the neighbors for him). That shift knob brings back memories. I’ve put on more than a few miles on with a truck with one of those. Keep the videos coming.
Great video guys. That Detroit sounds so good. I’ve seen the Dee Snyder clip you were talking about many time too, I also had the pleasure of seeing Twisted Sister in a small club here in St. Louis back in the early 80’s. Hey staff those taters are gonna be delicious 😋
I learned my lesson on pulling on the front axle on my old B MODEL MACK when froze to the ground pull on the frame. My dad had a Louieville FORD gravel truck just like yours , them DETROITS if you could make the noise into power they be a good motor, staffs garden looks great!!
A Fuller Roadranger. I drove one for an instant. It was hard to make the up shift from 5th to 1st (6th). Xena's plants will love the clippings as long as they aren't steaming 😎
yes each trans will shift differently and also the motor rpm also make a difference too. yes we are learning all about plants at the end of the world. thansk
Glad to hear Johnny and fam are OK. We had a tar shale pipe dream down here for a minute. All of the companies moved in and then did nothing. LOL Everyone had dreams of riches, oh well. Great video, Thanks!
Evacuations are merely suggestions on relocating you and your stuff to another spot....awaiting yet another evacuation. At least that's what it felt like when I was evacuated by some undesirables 29 years ago! Another great show Joey!
Ice Road Rick Yehm & Art Burke were the best regular weekly drivers on IRT. I remember the TV episode when Art Burke asked the King of Obsolete to save the day with the screaming Ford and that 318 Detroit.
Good to see The King is still ruling the Kingdom. Best two acres in town. Last time I was in LL it was the middle of winter (I remember one morning when the thermometer read - 50) and I was topo surveying for the waste disposal site and Joey and the mayor were tearing down houses and hauling them ( the Ford had a tandem dump trailer on it then, or it was a different black L9000 tractor) to the dump before they were burned down. I remember mechanic Jeff had that fire while he was in the big city that wrecked his shop and burned his rare Harley Sturgis, and he was working out of the gas station. I rented vehicles from Jeff while I was there - the big Ford E350 and a green Chevy p/up. I also got to meet Ted from Leaf Rapids then, but I don't remember the Mines and Energy guy's name. Ate once a day at The Red Barn, when I could make it back into town before it closed for the night, and slept at The Bronx. Had a few snow - shoe type survey jobs at Black Sturgeon, too. Before I was a surveyor and engineer, I was a diesel mechanic. I had two older regular customers that ran Screamin Jimmys - one an 8V-92 435 HP Silver Series in a 78 IHC Eagle. He kept that old truck in immaculate condition. The other was a Western Star with a 6V53 with an air starter. Most of the Louisvilles I worked on had Cat 3406's, though.
Same transmission as my trucks. One is hooked to a 3406 cat. Second one is hooked to a 350 cummins and the third is hooked to 6V71. Each one shifts a little differently.
Better music than I expected, I thought you said the Ford had a 6v71. Nice set up. Didn't see an air dryer. Maybe Dick and Amelia are jealous of the Staff's garden. Thanks see ya tomorrow.

I get ideas looking at the 1941 chevy 4x4 to make the other fleet of 4x4 vehicles as well like the maple leaf give that truck the steroids four wheel drive axles and let that be come a tractor trailer rig as well
Tag axles on the farm never really worked well, about all they were good for was on hard roads and getting out of overweight tickets on the way to town. Do you split the top gears(does it have Overdrive)? Where do you get the winter front for the Ford Louisville anymore?
yes that is true on going to town with a load. the Screaming Ford has the 13 speeed which we split the gears. the winter ford and bug screen were custom made at a upholstery shop in the south. thansk
Good video on the winter road modifications on the Ford! 👍🏼👍🏼. So the water you haul is for outside and washing and bathing? Where do you get your water for cooking and coffee ?
