The moment you're defeated, the undefeated God steps in and gives you a strength you don't have. And it's not just strength to get through the day, it's perfected Strength. When you are weak, He is strong.
I've said before, "Prayer takes your mind off the issue at hand to the Hand of God." Life can be hard. It can be a struggle. The world is broken, and it's not hard to convince you of that. But you strive and struggle to prove that you have some sort of control, or you're mentally strong enough to get through a trial, or have all it takes to win your battles on your own. Friend, God is not surprised or disappointed that you're human; that's why He sent Jesus. Jesus, who is immeasurably powerful, perfectly steadfast in love towards you, abundant in goodness, and forever faithful.
I think God often brings us to our lowest trial to realize He is our highest joy. He allows us to walk through the raging sea, as he holds back the billowing waves. He allows us to walk through the fire, but never leaves our side or permits us to be burned.
2 Corinthians 4.8-9, "We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed."
God is so so so so good to you. He won't allow a single tear to hit the ground. He is catching all of them. It's a beautiful image, how we keep & collect what's most special & dear to us. Well, God collects your tears and emotions and prayers, and keeps them all safe. You can be vulnerable with Jesus, he already knows you and loves you completely.
