Northern Idaho is filling up fast with Californian transplants, and land is high. Rust fungus in the water isn't uncommon either if you get out of the city proper. Good fishing and hunting though. Lots of wildlife and seclusion. Skiing in the winter and ice fishing. They even have a WalMart Super Store! Wheee!
