Eric, I've seen numerous videos of yours in which you explain your reluctance to making fun games, as opposed to educational ones, but I don't think that reluctance is really justified. As long as you make high quality games (more 'art' and less 'product') then you don't need to worry about promotion at all, nor about the crowded status of the app stores (I speak from experience). And I don't think people choose to download games based mostly on browsing the front page of the stores, but rather they search for specific categories of games, then they browse the listing within that category, or they open the page of a game they already played and liked, and they look at the "Similar Apps" and "You Might Also Like" sub-categories on that page. Those sub-categories might be the most important manner in which games are discovered on Google Play, and they don't depend on your promotion efforts (they most likely are completely auto-generated based on identifying common users that played and liked those apps).
+AXgamesoft You are probably right. I'm not the best when it comes to this area and I know that fun games definitely must make money. This is a really good point. The suggested apps are something I didn't talk about and you're absolutely right.
