I have a pitbull I keep her clean and I cook for her. I don’t give her processed food and she looks so beautiful just like yours. Her coat is shining. Her skin is beautiful and yes it’s a commitment but I keep everything spotless and you are hundred percent right well set love your channel.

So helpful! My Bully has chicken& environmental allergies. I looked@ the vet like she was crazy. When I was told "we overwash our dog!"
She can't smell like no dog ever. Not in my house!
This is amazing. All animals deserve an owner like this. The bigger dog on the right in the beginning looks at momma and says, here she goes again about allergies 😅

It’s so true, you really have to watch what your pets are doing when playing outdoors, especially on the grass. Unfortunately, so much of it is chemically treated these days.

Bathing a dog two to 3 weeks is too much. Its a reason all vets says not to wash a dog too frequently. Their skin and ph is different fron ours. Now once a year is too long but vets ive encountered suggest 3-6 months. I do a bath for them every 90 days unless they have some kind of incident where they need it. In between time I use very gentle baby wipes and also they have a disinfectant spray especially formulated for dogs. Also anyone listening please don't use human shampoo on dogs. It will cause very flaky skin and damage to their protective skin barrier. The same things that can happen with bathing too much.

Absolutely, my dog has allergies. She can't eat chicken and beef. She's also allergic to certain to certain grasses. Definitely agree with everything you are saying.
i had pitties, and they are delicate effing flowers! if it had a beak and feathers, they couldn’t eat it. also no corn, wheat or soy. even with all that management, they had to get regular cytopoint injections because pollen (we didn’t have grass in our yard). 🙄 tough-looking dogs. biggest babies😁

I love your videos and advice. My dog is a 14 years old (chihuahua). I loved her dearly, but she has allergies she lost most of the hair on her back, and only the skin is showing. For the past year, I spent over $4000 for allergy shots and medications as well as topical cream. Now, she has been diagnosed with trachea collapse, which she constantly keeps coughing, sounding like an honking noise as well as an ear infection, I feel helpless. I do not know what else to do. I spent $ last week, 😢 $500 in treatment. I bathe her twice a week. But she's very active and energetic. Any advice you can share. Thank you. Meraida. Sorry for the long story. 😮

Who says wash your dog once a year? Insane! Most breeds need to be groomed at least 3 times a year so only washing any dog once a year is neglect, especially those with long coats or double coats. Many breeds need to be brushed regularly to prevent matting. Inside dogs need their nails clipped and paw pads shaved to prevent slipping on their fur. Ugh I can't even begin to think about the home and health of people who only wash their dogs once a year. Gross!

Chicken is the most common allergen. My dog was biting his paws until I took corn from his diet.

The people that say they don't bath their dogs more then once a year shouldn't have dogs... we have bulldogs and we bath then the same amount as you, once every 2-3 weeks....
Most bully breeds can't have chicken so we avoid that but giving your dog dry kibble their whole life, you shouldn't have a dog either!! It's so hard to find stuff without chicken but we do !! 🐾🐾 your amazing at your job as a momma.

Oh and washing the bedding , you’ll be surprised most folks don’t wash the bedding with bath time . I so agree about every 3 weeks for bathing . Whew I can’t have my house smelling like a dog ! Hi, I have an American Bully and I see everything you post. I want to ask you about the wipes I can use.
My vet tells me to bathe my dog in oatmeal shampoo it helps their skin and not so much itching or chewing. You gotta bathe them with oatmeal shampoo at least twice a month. If dog eats something and is allergic to certain foods give Benadryl call the vet for the correct dosage it depends on the weight of dog. Hope this helps beautiful dogs❤❤❤

Question how did you know they were allergic to chicken? My dogs been eating chicken for his whole life and he is allergic to grass. I did switch him to nature balance the fish and non-grain and he only like pooped once a day and it seems to be going good but I’m not sure if he’s really truly allergic to any food plus what type of house cleaner do you use? We use a mixture of Dawn soap and water if we run out of Lysol, but I just wanna see if it could be anything I’m cleaning with.

Apoquel allergy shots work sooo good for my dog! He gets BAD allergies once a year. Thank God he only needs one shot a year. Its only like $50 so its not too too expensive.
Gut health is first and foremost. Get your dogs on a good quality probiotics, and rotate them every four weeks so they get different strains We should be doing this also. So many diseases linked to pour gut health and poor gut Microbiome.
That’s why I didn’t believe my husband when he said that a dog suppose to be bathe every 3 months! That’s not hygienic!! That’s why our dog stays outside because he refuse to bathe her twice a week.

Every dog is different. She found a routine that works for these pups in this environment and they're thriving, anyone hating over that got probs. 😂

I wash my cats bedding and toys weekly as well as my bed covers.

My doctor always said to wash the dog twice a week. If not, the dog stays out of the bedroom.
