@@tulokthebarbrarian2033I forgot what channel I was on and was like "why is the DND guy here? I mean the games overlap somewhat but feels weird... OHHHH"
Good advice about looking up those specifically-numbered rules about Ares (Hades) and Megaera (Hades)! I can definitely see myself looking at those many times. For... research. About the game. Of course. Super enjoyed this run! I love seeing the content branching out, it's a lot of fun seeing you tackle a new challenge!
33:15 For clarification, you're not a bad person if you kill a dog, you ARE a bad person if you kill YOUR dog. Which Cerberus is, what sort of monster refuses to pet their own dog and also would kill them if they had the chance? Oh right- The same one that tortures themselves by running from (to?) all their problems-
Zeus' dash prolly is one of the best ones. Getting all of the lightning boosting boons from zeues would make the dash deal like nearly 200 damage. Like jolted, lightning striking twice etc
yea, I was surprised he said it was bad. Whenever I have that dash, it always seems like I do way more damage combined with the other attacks, but Poseidon's dash definitely deals the heftiest amount of damage on its own.
I think the reason he said it was bad was simply because it requires a lot of luck and setup for it to start doing lots of damage, cause it's honestly pretty damn weak on it's own, and sometimes it takes a while if at all to acquire the other boons.
I still have three more damn freshwater bass to catch to finish my codex! I've 100% done everything else, even getting Skelly's third challenge reward.
Love this! Almost makes me want to try doing a dash only Hades run, since when I have the Poseidon dash I usually main that anyway. Looking forward to future videos!!
Just finished Hades recently myself after putting it down for a while. Absolutely LOVE this game and promise I will watch every video you do on this game.
Been having a hades resurgence for the first half of 2023 and just recently tore myself away to try to finish ff16, so I'm definitely hype to see one of my favorite new(to me) content creators do some challenge runs.
DUDE YOURE ACTUALLY HILARIOUS!!! I don't play elden ring so this is the first video I've watched of yours. Hope you continue to make more Hades content!!! :)
This would be a great series, id love to see the struggle, also nice to see you diversify the games you challenge run. Your growing as a content creator and you have my respect
as someone who has never played hades this was incredibly fun to watch! you never miss. this truly solidified it for me that i don't care what game you play because i'll watch it anyways
Played the crap out of Hades not too long ago so it's awesome seeing a challenge run for it, especially since it's one I've thought of doing myself for the laughs. Thank you, funny Elden Ring man who also plays other games occasionally, this video is quite enjoyable.
Im a new viewer here and i mean new this is the first video that i watched and i enjoyed it i dont play elden ring so please continue to make hades challenge videos cause this was awesome
HELL YEAH HADES CONTENT BABY!!! also if you have a trial of the gods and one of their calls. Pick the opposite god and get the call of the god you pissed to max and then use it. I wont spoil what happens but its *chefs kiss* perfect
I have been enjoying your Elden Rings videos, bc you're just interesting and funny, I never played Elden Rings. But Hades?? I LOVE Hades, such an incredible and fun game. To see you play this REALLY sparks joy. I want to see more runs in any way possible, the dash run was definitely one of my more curious quests and can't wait to see what else you come up with!
Since you're unsure how this game is going to do for you: Got the video recommend by the algorithm. That being said, I have consumed a lot of Elden Ring content over the last 6 months (your channel is new to me, though) and I have been getting back into Hades content in the last few days. So this specific video of Hades by a content creator, who usually does Elden Ring, was probably a match made in heaven for YT's algorithm. If that algorithm had self-awareness it would probably be incredibly proud to have recommended me your video. So, yeah, Algorithm-senpai maybe has noticed you and brings you good fortune or it's just shipping me and your videos.
I got Hades credits on run 69 the first time I played the game, I think it genuinely does respect run 69 lmao It's wild but really neat to see how dash only completely shifts the usefulness of certain boons
Love this concept and the video is super funny! Hades is my most played game of all time, it’s such a great game. (Also appreciate the sam reich voice clip jumpscare, I get excited any time I see random dropout references online)
Hades is one of the GOATS Minor spoilers, but Zag and Dio spread a funny rumor (based on a version of the myth) in which Zag is kind of Zeus's child, which leads me to now pronounce Zagreus with the same "eus" sound as Zeus. I love my little hotfooted Zagroos
Glad you guys are feeling a little more comfortable to start expanding your content a bit more, I hope this video does well so you guys don't feel stuck in a box. Hades is a great choice based on its dedicated fanbase and just being a great game all round. Of course a rouge like is perfect for the channels focus on video game builds you've transitioned to. Though I'll still wish for the day to see Mango finish KH2 I'm glad you're channel is growing and hope to see it continue.
Tried doing a similar challenge where I only used casts. It was brutal, and until you get (if you get them) some good cast boons every room takes like 5 minutes
The alternative Mirror of Darkness option that makes your cast regenerate instead of waiting to pick up would probably help, as well as the Aspect of Hera bow
Love the attempts with the gorgon and stone team in Asphodel 😂😂😂 Loved the playthrough, and it’s good to see someone else struggling with trying this too, but you did it much faster than me, I tip my hat to you sir 🎩
I personally think Poseidon dash is pretty bad. Yeah, it has high base damage, but it also yeets enemies away, meaning it can be harder to follow up with another dash hit (or normal attacks for regular runs). Zeus is actually super strong, as other boons can massively enhance its damage. Also, my reason to grab the fists is because its hidden aspect gives you +2 dashes.
I enjoyed this, but I'm not sure extending the challenge to rest of the game would be interesting. You can't really experiment with different weapons and builds, which is the part that makes subsequent runs interesting, at least for me. I'd be happy to see more Hades content, but I think new and different challenges would be better.
Seeing you play other games is cool you're challenge running style reminds me of MittenSquad but still different enough to be refreshing and cool definitely looking forward to more Hades challenge runs and maybe some other games too
I love Hades, so I'm super excited if this becomes a series
Same
Definitely gotta do cast only next time
Hades 2 anounced some month ago :)
Same, one of my all time favorites
Wow, never thought I'd ever in my life see Athena's dash below A tier
Not an elden ring person, but I love your style. So when I saw this I Athena dashed over
Not the best, but I'm glad you were safe
At least it wasn’t Zeus, right?
That was your first mistake
Homie took the safe route

I can't like this comment because it's at 69 right now. I won't be the one to take that away.
I'm a huge Hades fan, so I really love this concept. Excited to see more like this!!

This is true, but for that you need to survive long enough to get those. Doing that while only using the 10 damage base zeus dash is a little hard.
I’d say poisedens is probably the best overall. Once you get rapture the game is easy mode.
I support you spreading you wings. I'm not here for Elden Ring, I'm here for you.
Hades is such an amazing game. I’d love to see you continue this series like you did Elden Ring!
Ooh, and excellent changeup! Hades is an absolutely perfect game for challenge/theme runs!
So true, I got like 5 other ideas while playing it haha
Love Hades! I’ve 100%’d it, and it was a great time. Glad to see you branching out!
And branching out with Hades too, so fun
i'm planning on 100%ig it too, through the steam achievements at least
But did you defeat 64 heat?
I still have three more damn freshwater bass to catch to finish my codex! I've 100% done everything else, even getting Skelly's third challenge reward.
I actually bought this game after watching the first 15 or so minutes of this video, loving it so far!
I love Hades. Best game I’ve played in a long time.
Yeah this game rips
I endorse this decision whole-heartedly.
im utterly disappointed that you didnt think about petting cerberus by dodging into him
Hades is one of my top fav games so seeing it as an alternative to Elden Ring runs is sweet. Love both want more.
Same here, it's right up there with Elden Ring
Between Hollow Knight and Hades in recent years I've really come around to the "git gud" genre :D
Love this! Almost makes me want to try doing a dash only Hades run, since when I have the Poseidon dash I usually main that anyway. Looking forward to future videos!!
Thanks to this video, I can now never call The Sus by his normal name again. Good stuff.
Just finished Hades recently myself after putting it down for a while. Absolutely LOVE this game and promise I will watch every video you do on this game.
Started watching for the Elden Ring vids, but also had fond memories of Hades. Good stuff, I'll be happy to see more of either!
I love your Elden Ring videos, but Hades is so amazing and this video was great. I hope enough people watch this video to warrant more runs in Hades.
Wow Elden Ring looks different today
One of my favs! I've been watching the ER content for a couple weeks, Hades is a great surprise
Not gonna lie, I might start replaying Hades after this video. Hope you make a series out of it!
Never thought I’d see the day
Well welcome to the day
Something different this week. Hades has to be my favourite variation of greek mythology.
Yeah, it's fun, it's got all the pettiness but also everyone kind of grows a bit
This is my multiverse of madness. Favorite Elden ring TH-camr and one of my favorite games ever.
Been having a hades resurgence for the first half of 2023 and just recently tore myself away to try to finish ff16, so I'm definitely hype to see one of my favorite new(to me) content creators do some challenge runs.
Trying new things is always scary, but what's scarier than that is getting maimed by a chicken at a playground when I was 7.
I was there for the infamous unbreakable column. Nice to see this on TH-cam
Hell yeah, that fucking pillar can go to hell... or, stay in hell
I used to speedrun this game, so seeing this game be covered on your channel was a nice surprise. Also tidal dash best dash.
Just bought hades and I’ve been loving it, glad to see content still being made for the game long after it’s release!
I have to say my man i absolutely love all the addins from gamechanger and mask some noise dropout is amazing
DUDE YOURE ACTUALLY HILARIOUS!!! I don't play elden ring so this is the first video I've watched of yours. Hope you continue to make more Hades content!!! :)
I'm surprised the first time you saw Hermes you didn't take Greatest Reflex, especially since you're only using dash damage in this run
Nice to see you making videos about different games
Hell yeah, I love Hades
As much as I love your elden ring content I love the idea of seeing you try different games with twist.
I love the branching out, never played this game but its definitely going on the to-do list
It sooooo good! Highly recommend!
This would be a great series, id love to see the struggle, also nice to see you diversify the games you challenge run. Your growing as a content creator and you have my respect
My favourite video game. And Tulok turned me onto it!
Well hell yeah, happy to spread the good word of the good game
Heck yeah. I love Hades!!! I’m not sure what other challenge builds you can do but it would be fun to see them!
Funnily enough Tulok, your hades build video was what made me buy the game in the first place. Love the game and love the content brother!
as someone who has never played hades this was incredibly fun to watch! you never miss. this truly solidified it for me that i don't care what game you play because i'll watch it anyways
OH FOR REAL? i will definitely contact you on telegram because you're not suspicious : D

Lot of Work Computer recommendations today. Regardless of whether you think that's good or bad, this was a *really* good video.
I'm a fan now, I'll watch anything you wanna put out... Anything
Hell yeah... but also that sounds vaguely ominous
Yeeees. We love a bit of Hades. Well, just a Dash.

Earned a sub for the " are you a sicko" from not petting the dog.
Commenting to support you branching out!
I was waiting half the video for Cult of Dionysus to play on a title card, and I am not dissapointed
Saw this from the algorithm, definitely piqued my interest and gave it a like
This was fun! Not sure Hades has quite the long-term shenanigans legs that Elden Ring has had, but I’m happy to see other stuff!
oh now this is a FANTASTIC challenge vid
Its okay, all the circles in the video make it ring like enough for me
This was such a fun video to watch. I love your style of wit.
It get me so much more attempts to beat the dad with all abilities and god mode and you did all with just a dash.....
That's some emotional damage
Been loving your vids and this Hades one is no exception hope to see more variety content in the channel
Hades is easily one of the best roguelikes I've played. I'd eat any more of content with Hades.
