And a Jim Morrison fanatic... a lot of Lana is a creation... she's been there, done that, and she writes for people going through it. In some ways it seems glamorous, and a lot of younger females don't seem to hear the sadness... or they think it's just always gonna be that way... I love this album, and Lana... but I think she knows a lot about music that most people don't... she knows who Nancy Sinatra and Dusty Springfield were !!! I love how by the time you got to 'old money' it just gut punched you. This is on of my favorite albums ever. It is a master work of songs. Keep making the videos. They're a blast to watch! As far as Born to Die or Ultraviolence it's a progression with Lana's music which was much more mature by the time she did Ultraviolence.

I love how by the time you got to 'old money' it just gut punched you. This is on of my favorite albums ever. It is a master work of songs. Keep making the videos. They're a blast to watch! As far as Born to Die or Ultraviolence it's a progression with Lana's music which was much more mature by the time she did Ultraviolence.

Born to Die is definitely her best. It's classic Lana! But Ultraviolence has such a uniqueness not only in the music industry in general, but also in her own discography. No other album of hers is even close to being similar. She's constantly evolving. Love your reactions
