I used to put my phone on silent when I was at work because it would mess up my concentration. I had a desk phone for work.
I would get home and put the phone down and went about my business. Never really understood why my ex would get angry at me when she saw it was on silent.
She got mad cause she assumed you put it on silent to keep it from ringing when other women called.
