Some zb last slot algorithms are not finger tricky and a bit slower than standard f2l algorithms. Also, some zbll algorithms are a bit long (like17,18 moves) and not easy to recognize. So for some cubers, doing standard oll and pll are just better than zb method

@CuberCaiden The cfop method has oll and pll the zb method has zbls and zbll you are doing 2 steps in both methods however the zb method has much worse recognition so cfop is better than zb.

@@SamuelZheng-fz8lp Yiheng has already come out publicly and said he will not learn Zb because it lots of algs, and Yiheng is so fast that if he were to learn the method, he would get so slow, because his habits are super ingrained into his solving style. So Zb would only hurt Yiheng and not help him.

you underestimate the processing capabilities of young kids, also, they have a choice to do it or not, and if theyre good at what they do they will be pushed to go further, just like everything everyone ever will do, not just cubing

@@Unity811 I have worked with plenty of kids teaching them cubing and my own kid is very talented and ranked No.4 in Spain (out of the kids 14 and under), but the idea that a seven year old can learn 800 odd algs to the point that he can flawlessly recognize, recall and execute them in solves is nonsensical. Unless proven otherwise I would hypothesize that Xuanyi has been subjected to significant coercion to be where he is today. Hope I'm wrong!

@@accesscrimea im not arguing with your or anything and that's interesting, i am taking what you say into account but at the same time looking at all these cubing prodigies you can see each on has a different style, yiheng has flawless first two layers and the new one has full zb, he couldve just learnt zb because its something he wanted to do, most people wouldnt wanna sit there and learn almost a thousand algs but maybe he did, to get his goal of one looking an entire solve, but like i said, hes good, and he will then be pushed by people to be even better

@@Unity811 He's clearly exceptionally talented, prodigiously so, regardless of any supposed coercion. I just believe that 800 algs takes years to perfect, there is a reason why no one in the world has done it before, and I mean YEARS. His knowledge base is soooo far off the bell curve it arouses suspicions, that's all. Also, If I may add, it is well documented how in Chinese culture colossal demands can be placed on kids by parents.
