Came back to Ga, took it for oil change, not a drop of okl in crankcase!! How I made it back is beyond me! It now has 87k and drives wonderful! And yes, it now has oil! 🤣
Amazing is right term for this cream puff, i have one myself they are so reliable, why did they stop making them? more reliable than any Audi or Benz. that's a fact.
That was just the problem they lasted too long. People weren't trading them in every 5 to 7 yrs like people tend to do. Plus because of the simplicity of the car their wasn't much to break on them. So now sales departments and parts departments are suffering. With that being with said their wasn't much money coming in to the dealerships to warrant keep making them.
Found a 1 owner car good Friday with only 50k on it for 500. Old people bought these cars in the 2000s and never used them. Amazing cars with very few miles on them if only baby boomers didnt kill Mercury.
I found one from 99 only 30k miles for 1,500$. I fkn love it! It's an amazing car. Lady that sold it to me was 97 years old... The last 2 years before i bought it, it was in her garage for 730 days straight. I have it at 63k miles now. I only use it for road trips 😎
I agree this car is nice. However, when states this model is fully loaded well.....almost but not fully. My 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis LS 4.6L 8 cylinder is fully loaded and the one feature that makes it the real truly fully loaded model is a "digital dash" the 00 Merc Grand Marquis in this video has a basic non-digital information dash so, my friends is his Merc Grand Marquis Fully NOPE! So there you go people :)

Handling package. Hard to beat these cars. Tough as nails and maintenence is a breeze. Add police/taxi shocks and struts and it handles great as well.
