Volvo XC90 SRS Airbag service urgent

This is what happend couple times when days are very hot. So I pull over and let the motor cool down - then I can continue. Does anybody had or have same issue with his Volvo XC90?
At first, there is very loud "punch" and afterwards all controls light turn on and motor goes off. As you can see on the video.

It sure does, mine just rolled 210,000, these cars have been known to exceed 1,000,000 miles. No major repairs except for a bad crash in 2002 that both passengers walked away from. VT State Trooper said he had never pulled a dead body from a Volvo.

I test drove a 07 xc90 it said this and it would say check engine or s or something in regular maintenance needed

My 2004 volvo s60 did this a while back and I brought it in got light out. They offered to change dim and said brake sensor code was on. not sure if it is inside sensor or outside. didnt change neither or dim. Been problem free for 4 months and today same thing. loud bang like tranny hickup then dash out. pulled over shut off then turned back on and srs service airbag urgent displayed and purrs like kitten. Woul love to resolve this myself.

This is an error which appears on many XC90's and has caused sometimes inmense costs voor the owners....a.o. the replacement of the expensive DIM unit.......Volvo never dealt properly with this MAJOR anomaly in the software.

Send DIM to XModex in Canada. They fix for a good price.

when ever i work on my aftermarket radio and the dome lights on the battery loose any power i get that message so pull my diagnostic and erase it and it stays off

@@susanjohnson4396 yea so mine i have to bring it down pay $50 to get it erased it was cuz my key was turned while changing the radio

My wife and I bought a 2005 XC90 and have the SRS Air Bag light and alarm system message also, do you know if this is a common error as well?
